leann....thats great about your friend...maybe you will be joining her in the mommys-to-be club soon! Let me know when you are TTC and want us to follow your cycle days.
trisha....well if you are not, I hope AF starts again so you can get back to TTC. I know what you mean about the preg. symptoms. I read so many ladies on here talking about sore BBs and nausea (including myself in the past) but those are all signs of elevated progesterone levels just before AF as well...so they aren't reliable for judging pregnancy...but we all want it so bad, we think what we want to think. All the research I found said nausea as morning sickness doesn't start until about 5 weeks or later, which would be after AF is missed... I have actaully been getting nausea with ovulation..but something tells me when the BFP is real the nausea is going to come on strong....undeniable. Good luck to all of us!

He everyone! Carol, I did test at DPO11 & today and both were BFN's. I still haven't started AF yet. FF says I should start today. I'm pretty confident that I won't get a BFP since I'm 15DPO today. I sure felt the preg. symptoms again this month but different ones. I'm trying not to obsess like I did last month. I so wanted a May baby but I'll take whatever I can get! Trisha

I guess I am just used to alot of abdominal pain. I had 4 kids by c-section, appendectomy, gall bladder removed, and have suffered from spastic colon and IBS (irritable bowl syndrome) on and off most of my adult life. TR was like a walk in the park! So the cramps from clomid didn't bother me too much. I had alot of "O" pain for about 3 days, but only really painful for one day. The pre-AF symptoms were same as usual, just slightly more exaggerated. I took the clomid with dinner in the evening, so the headaches didn't bother me too much at night, since I would take some tylenol before going to bed.....and I am prone to pretty bad migraines, so I was worried about that. I have had some nausea on and off throughout the cycle, but I think it can also be attributed to the prenatal vitamins...I have never tolerated vitamins in pill form too well, even when taking them with food. All in all, I wasn't too upset by the symptoms. They seem worth it if I get a BFP at the end of the month, and I am on my second month of a three month trial...I don't want to take more than three months, so I am "half way" through almost! Hopefully I won't need next month!!! As for the mental stuff... I had a few emotional moments...but I kept telling myself it was all for a good cause....and my DH had to say that too....but I think these past 4 months have been emotional enough, so I doubt the clomid made it that much worse. I hope it worked for you this month! Good Luck!

Yeah this is my first month but I'm not "officially" on it...my RE just gave it to me for the purpose of doing the "chlomid challenge", which I passed. As far as late ovulation, I've done the ff chart search for late ovulation and pregnancy and there are tons on there on chlomid with that and got nice fat bfp's
Side effects?
Mental : Let's just say I'll *never* go on clomid again. It has been an amazingly awful roller coaster. My mood went deep into depression to the point where some days it was too tough to get out of bed.
Physical : If I could have called in sick all month I would have. I have been nauseous every single morning since right before I ovulated. My boobs hurt soooooo much it's not funny anymore. I had really excruciating cramps the day before ff said I O'd and again at 3dpo. I mean even taking alieve didn't let it up enough so I could get up off of the bed.
My hat is off to anyone who can handle this stuff month after month!

actually, not to disappoint you because you could still get a BFP, but I noticed you didn't "O" until CD 23 - I was CD 22 and my doc said it was rather late. He wanted me to "O" about 7 days after the last day of clomid. Is this your first cycle on clomid?

boston...how are you doing with the clomid? what doseage were you on this cycle? did you have many side effects? I just started 100 mg yesterday. 50 mg got me regulated last month and I "O"d but late...but my luteal phase was right on target...so I am hoping this month a double dose will do the trick! 7 DPO...are you crazy to test? LOL At least wait until 10 DPO...I know...waiting is the hardest part!!! and by the way...you're luck to only be 28 days....I've been 35-40...so image MY wait!! GOOD LUCK - We need some more BFPs in here!!!
And of course I"ve already tested and got bfn. Today while dropping my kids off at their dad's house I was behind a car and the fumes from the gas were making me gag. I wish this 2ww would be over 'cause the suspense is killing me!! This is the longest cycle I've ever had to endure since I'm normally a 28 day cycle kinda gal.
I wish that I had more time to post, but I read as often as I can and it is so good for me to read everyone's successes and the trials that we are all facing.
Baby Dust to everyone and never give up on your dreams!
