I laugh too when I read some of these posts, I am glad everyone also has a sense of humor, along with being serious.

They bumped up my due date from 04/03 to 04/01, not a big deal. It would be cool to have an April's fools baby. I have a Friday the 13th girl and a Palm Sunday boy. This would be the icing on the cake. [Love]

Good morning ladies....how is everyone doing?
I am starting to feel a little better with every week that passes. I will be 17 weeks on Friday....I cannot believe it.
You girls are so funny and have me worried about having a boy....I am hopefully going to find out today if the baby is in a good position. I have three girls and I know my dh wants a boy....but now I'm scared LOL....somewhere deep down I'm rooting for another girl!

Well I hope you all have a great day.

Hi ladies!

I'm rootin' for a girl, too! Though, being blessed already with 2 of each, it truly doesn't matter.

I love my boys, but they give me more wrinkles and gray hair than my girls ever could! Once they hit about 4, it's hard for me to relate to them, since I'm sort of this throwback "old fashioned" girl. I can spend all day with my girls together and feel closer, while sometimes that just raises my bloodpressure with the boys, LOL! Mama12, I'm with you on girls being easy to raise. When my girls have a time of some crying or whining episode, I understand where it's coming from and how they feel! When they boys are upset, it manifests in those "early manly ways" I still don't quite get!

I'm blessed to have good kids all the way around, and I know God has changed me a lot by making me think outside myself more for the kids-particularly the boys...so maybe he's got more of that in store! My girls are the younger 2, so it seems like an easier fit having another girl too.

Like I said though, after these years of thinking I may never get to experience another miracle, having a TR finally and getting pregnant first cycle...I will TAKE with great excitement whatever God gives!

Congrats and continued prayers for healthy pregnancies and babies for all of us!

Christbride, I want a girl!!!!!
I have 2 girls.
After an episode the last month with my nephew. I was watching him do yard work thinking of how he was a good boy and I may be able to deal with a boy, well my bro called to have a chat with him, about peeping on his stepmom changing through the window!!!??

I'm sorry but girls?? They don't do that nasty disgusting stuff.
It took the boy desire instantly out of me. I was so repulsed by that. It was gone as fast just as I thought well maybe.....
Chicky, girls they may be whiney, they may be hormonal, but I love my girls. They are smart, loving and very easy to raise. Are easy to rationalize with. I've watched ALOT of kids over the years and by far girls are easier in my opinion.
If I have a boy, all I know is he's walking the line... I'm not having it, and with 2 DD's much much older than him??? He's not getting away with much LOL
Glad you are feeling good Christbride, I've been soooo thirsty lately drinking like 15 drinks a day??? water, juice, Gatorade, you name it. No pop, and only 1 cup of coffee in the AM but it's crazy I'm so thirsty and FULL from the thirst that I have hardly any room for food!
Maybe your thirst button doesn't work??? I drink non stop it's all day, I've got a drink by my side. I get pains on the sides real low, and REALLY sharp. Pulling tendons, muscles acting completely weird, the top of my stomach goes numb sometimes for a minute. I get that middle pain on occasion I chalk it up to stretching and growing.
I'm so glad you feeling better.
MRC yeah I know it's so nerve wracking in the early days isn't it??? Been there. I'm so glad this one was normal dispite the spotting.
I'm pretty lucky no issues so far, pregnancies are usually really easy for me, knock on wood right? It is normal though I had spotting on and off through my 2nd preg. all the while - threatened abortion was written on the chart... there's really not much they can do so it was all about hoping and waiting it out with her. But here she is LOL looks just like me, even down to my toes and fingers [Smile] My little twin.

My main concern right now is in that sono, the baby is obviously very very low, you can see my cervix right next to it. I have some potential scar issues on the top left. I had placenta left in for 6 months after the last baby. Necrotic, and living bleeding out. I had hemoragged at the end, got a D&C but the chances of it being scarred in there is very high I know that.
I know placenta cannot attach to scar tissue or the cervix, so I know what I'm possibly in for. We will be checking progress next week. That is really my only issue, thank goodness.
We are all moving along nicely [Smile] its so good to see. And to see the word SHOPPING!!! It means we are doing good girls!!! It makes me so happy to see us doing good getting through all of our troubles with early pregnancy [Smile]

I have started shopping too! Not a ton, but we had garage sale days here and I got 2 very cute baby girl out fits, and off ebay I got al lot of very cute baby boy clothes. My sister in Phx is having a boy, so if I have a girl I can send her the clothes. And she has baby girl clothes She will send me. And my oldest sister is due in Jan. She has all baby boy clothes from her son who is almost 2. So I havn't gotten a whole lot. But I do plan on finding out as soon as I can so I can go shopping!!!!Hope you all have a great weekend!!!!

Thank you girls, and congratulations to you too. I am ready for either one. Of course if I could pick and chose, I wanted another boy. There is nothing better on God's green earth than a son. I grew up with all sisters and had a 1/2 brother that I wasn't raised with. I just love the boy things though, more sports and nature walks and fishing and all that. My daughter has really surprised me though, she likes to do all of that stuff too plus the girly-girl stuff. She is going to be ecstatic when she finds out she is having a sister, or that we think she is going to be a big sister.

MRC you sound just like me. I have three children all two years apart. Wonderful pregnancies. This time around I have spotted each time my dh and I have Bd'd sorry tmi. And that worries me alot. But Dr. said it is normal, all pregnancies are diff. Said lots of fluids and take it easy. I still have stomache aches all the time, when I eat. Hoping that will go away soon. I am hoping for a boy, but will be very happy iether way. I have 2 girls and 1 boy. And my husband, he has 2 boys, so I think he would like a girl. He is funny he says he can only produce boys. lol, Well I have to get back to work, nice to hear all you ladies talking and telling us whats going on in your pregnancies! I cant wait till I can feel my baby move too!!! Oh yeah my next dr appt is Oct. 7th!

Joy congrats thats so exciting. I can't wait to find out.
christbride....me and my dh have three girls so it would be fun to have a boy...but the other side of me is like well we know what to do with girls and it would just be easier to have all the same. I know my husband really hopes for a boy....with our last two girls he was always waiting to see what the u/s said...I think though by the third girl he just figured it was a girl...lol I am hoping on Monday they can take a quick peak and tell me something...my official level two u/s isn't for almost a month so if they could tell me sooner that would be great!! I had my tl because my pregnancies are so hard on me but everyone is so supportive...I feel so lucky to have a husband that was willing to go through a hyperemesis pregnancy for the fourth time....but we are truely done after this..time to raise our family with a healthy mama!

cool joy!!! i want a girl, but i don't think it is. i think the ep was a girl and this one is a boy. got a few weeks before i know.

michelle, seems like you have as many problems as me. that is why i had my tl in the first place. my mother has been arguing this whole time calling me 2-3 time a day. she is a worry wart. she didn't want me to have tr done, but went along because that was what i wanted and she really couldn't do anything about it. my dh now says we are done. he can't go through this again. but if it is not a girl he probably will have to suffer one more time.

what is everyone else wanting? i have been buying clothes for a year prior to tr and they are all girl clothes. now that i think this one is a boy, i am not buying anything else until i know for sure. anybody started shopping yet?

I had another ultrasound today to check the baby with this PTU medicine, they say everything looks great, moving quite a bit. They believe it is a girl, but wont be able to say for sure for another 2-3 weeks.

Hello everyone. Christbride I am so glad you are feeliong a little better. I notice everyday I am feeling a little better to...thank goodness! I am 16 weeks today...enough is enough! About the pain...every now and then I get a little abdominal pain...it comes and goes....my doctor said its ligaments from the baby growing. We all probably feel it more because its been a while since our last pregnancies. My youngest will be 6 in Novemeber......before that I was pregnant every two years..I have three dd's all about 2 years apart.
Congrats Joni!! Its so nice to get over that hurdle!
Mama......I had bleeding and spotting off and on until around 10 weeks....my doctor said for some woman its normal.....I have never had any spotting or bleeding in any other of my pregnancies so I freaked out in the beginning....but all is fine now.
I went to the doctor yesterday...I'm having to go every week becuase my blood pressure has been extremely high....I have another u/s on Monday to make sure its not affecting the baby....my doctor is sending me to a high risk specialist next week as well for the bp...I am on medication but its not working well. My doctor said we will probably deliver me at around 36 weeks if not sooner so it looks like I will be having a valentines day baby...my last dd was born at 36 weeks as well due to high bp and she was 7 lbs 9 oz.....so I am not to worried. I have my level 2 u/s on October 20th.
Well I hope you all are doing well!!
Michelle
