i think i am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. today is my second day off the pump and i have not gotten sick. i have it on standby just in case. my ketones went back up, so i will probably have to go back on the iv, but i am going to try and drink lots of eletrolytes today.
mama12, yeah these pregnancies do me really bad. i think i waited to long to get to the dr for the hyperemesis and dehydration and it had gotten to the extreme.
i am glad to see everyone is doing better. we are come up to the enjoyable part of it, for a little while anyway.
question, does anyone have pain from lower abdomen all the way to the private part?
I continue to marvel at how blessed we all are even through the trials and nervousness. It's so awesome to have a support group here on the CH pages.
I hope everyone has a great, blessed weekend! Mine will be full of cleaning and packing our home up. We're hoping to sell it and be in something new before the baby's born.

Looks like everyone is doing pretty good,just popping in to say hi. I'm doing fine, next Dr. appt is on the 29th I'm just about at the end of the 1st trimester - what a releif to have made it this far!!!
Christbride you have some tough pregnancies don't you, what caused the organ problems with your last one?? Was it the MS doing it?
Lullabyetime, I spotted to with this one a few weeks back, but I'm fine, haven't since we have a heartbeat too. I spotted with my 2nd DD too. Don't worry and just keep following up with your Dr. That's what they call it, threatened abortion... no fun to see that in writing but I've had that happen 2 times and well she's 8 years old now and this one I'm almost 12 weeks pregnant with. Don't let it get to you. Just take it easy and relax and rest when you feel tired.

Joni -- That's great! I know how your DH feels Even though every step of the way seems to be going great...I'm fearful the next step may not be so until baby is here and in my arms, I enjoy the moment but fret about tomorrow...I'm SUCH a worry wort!

Hi this is joni, aka stevesbaby. my edd is april 17,2009. so far so good. everything is going well. I have had 3 us. seen the heartbeat. I think my husband doesn't want to get excited until the baby is actually here and healthy. I am so excited, I could burst.

Lullabytime.....I had bleeding at around 4 weeks and then spotting brown off and on until I was about 8 weeks. I would have your doctor check your progesterone level just to make sure its not low. My doctor couldn't explain my bleeding or spotting and said its pretty normal in the first trimester. I even had a heavy gush of red blood around 9 weeks and then spotted brown again for a few days after that. I kept going back and forth to the docs office for an u/s everytime the spotting got worse or I would bleed and the baby was fine everytime. I am 16 weeks now and the baby is doing great. I am also RH- and my doctor didn't give me the shot at the beginning with my spotting? I wonder why they did that with you? I know I had to have them after my last two miscarriages. Try to relax and not worry...every pregnancy starts out differently. christbride.....wow...you pregnancy with your son sounded awful...you know I wonder how many of us had our tubes tied after our last pregnancies because they were so difficult on us. Thats why I had mine tied...then my husband and I changed our minds....we have been married for 13 years and have our three girls. I guess we forget how bad it was because our children are worth it! I know though this is going to be our last...this pregnancy has been really hard on my girls..they are 10,8 &5 and our routine is so out of wack. I just want to feel better and raise my family again....I definatly will not tie my tubes again or do anything permanent again because you never know! Michelle 16 weeks

Hi ladies, I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question but 1st I have to explain what happened. I went to Dr last Thursday and had my OB visit with pap smear included. The U/S said I was only 4 weeks (we only saw the sac & no fetal pole or yoke) instead of 5 but other then that everything went ok. On Monday I noticed a light brown discharge and went to the Dr immediately. They did another US which showed the sac and the yoke this time. I was given a rogam shot (I'm RH-) and they sent me home telling me to come back for my next visit which is next Thursday (Oct 2nd). I saw the nurse type "Threatened abortion" on the computer screen but no one said anything to me or explained what that meant. I believe the brownish discharge I saw was from the pap smear I had last Thursday since I havent seen anything since. What do you ladies think? It was a very small amount and very light brown.

my last pregnancy was way worse. all of my actuall organs started to shut down and i was hospitalized for almost the whole first trimester. and he is my special child. love him to death. he is still causing problem at 8. my daughter was bad but not as bad as the last two. she is still a well behaved child. i figure i will just spank him/her when they first get here for all the pain they are causeing. how many weeks are you know. you should be starting to see the forest now.
