christbride....I feel so bad for you...gall stones on top of the hyperemesis. I have to say I got through this pregnancy much better than my last three. I was in as bad of shape as you..except I had a kidney blockage in replace of your gall stones.I also had a reglan pump with my zofran and phenergan that helped. I hope it gets better for you soon. We all just want healthy babies and great pregnancies...it stinks when things are that bad. Have all your pregnancies been like this? I am still very limted to what I can eat because everything upsets my stomach. I am also taking zantac twice a day for the burning in my stomach and throat...that helps a little. Michelle

glad you are doing better michelle. the zofran pump is working wonders. no vomiting since i have been on it. i am on the home iv every night. that is keeping the ketones down now. i have gall stones also, so i can't eat any fat, grease, or dairy.

Hello everyone. Christbride how are you feeling? I have some days that are better than others.
Tia.....I would be bursting to know!! My first was a surprise....we have three daughters so I really want to know with this little one. This will be our last baby so I want to go all out with either pink or blue. Since we already have three girls I just feel like this one is a girl to....I find out in October.

JoyWV -- thanks for the update! I hope things go well at the doctor!!
ChristBride -- I have serious doubts that the information will be kept a secret for that long -- the church gossip chain is WAY too indiscretionary I like some surprises and not others This suprise is ok...I didn't want to know in the first place. I knew with my DS but not with my DD and I thought it was a great celebration in the delivery room when we found out. But anyway -- I'm just so caught up in the healthiness of the baby right now that it's keeping me going

tia, you didn't want to know? that's when you know you have a strong will. i need to know. don't like surprises. i am looking into getting one off of ebay today and see how it works. got one of the cheap ones but of course they don't work until last trimester.
congrats andrea. your numbers look good. keeping you in my prayers.
My official due date is 04/03/2009, I go on Friday to a maternal fetal medicine specialist. They should be able to tell me if I will be able to carry to term or what is going to happen with this medicine that I have to take.

We had our ultrasound today and everything went great!! The baby is 8oz in weight and is right on target with my gestation time (about 18 weeks)
DH and DD got to find out the sex so my daughter went to the mall and went on a mini shopping spree for the baby!
I was just happy to see all the organs working and developing properly and 10 fingers/10 toes. They also checked to make sure there was no cleft palate or heart abnormalities..so, so far, baby is doing great and I couldn't be happier about that right now!
We continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and for all the ladies who are either PG or trying!

Christbride -- I use it daily (usually at night after I've worked out) I haven't seen or read anything that indicates the heart rate monitors can't be used daily. My doctor didn't say anything about limited use either. I see him next Wednesday and will ask him though!

tia, how often are you listening to the heatbeat with the monitor. is there a set number of times you can do it or can you do it everyday without it affecting the baby.

Hi all...I haven't been on in a while...I have been really sick. Just wanted to say I rented a heart doppler and it finally came today. I found the heartbeat after about 10 minutes of searching. It was between 149 and 151. I go back to the specialist on the 29Th and I am praying that all is well with the baby.
Dawn, I wanted to say that I am so very sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
