I started working out like six weeks later and i worked up my abe work . i am a person who has excerised sevne days week up til my i had my son i do six now and occassionally if ill five a week but i work out regulary. Dont over do it i startedworkign out after my third c section when noah was born at five weeks but my ob also todl me to wait on teh abdominal work so i started that around six seven weeks.and worked it up. Though it was painful i waited at my six week cheak up for him to tell me the scar was healed fully and ican wrok out and then i went right ahead. My advice start with cardio first and uppper body.Lower body i would wait six weeks then work it up. Hope this helps

Heather, We say just listen to your body and don't do anything you don't feel up too! You shouldn't be lifting anything heavier than 15 pounds for 4 weeks. You may also want to wait about that long to do abdominal excerises since that would probably be uncomfortable.
How long did you wait to start working out again? I am one week post TR and am feeling good but afraid to work out yet. I am scared I might damage something. I don't snip the stitch until thursday. Was wondering if I should wait until after that to start exercising.
