I have having NST's weekly. I see the doctor today, she is also seeing me weekly and doing weekly ultrasounds. Im going to say something to her today.

I've been having a lot of painful braxton hicks, and more of the stretchy pinching pain up in "there". But as long as I know I'm making progress, I don't mind. We walked last night, and I was having them at frequent intervals, but nothing organized. Any way, TMI alert....... I had bloody show this morning. That's two weeks after the plug, so I feel like things are working along, and I am so excited.
Amy, can't wait to hear what the doctor says. Sorry last night didn't work out.
Bonnie, get it on camera if you have a recorder. It's cute when Mr Calm starts to freak.
Danielle, I understand how you feel. So many things you need/want to do, but you're ready for the little one.
Jen, I am so excited for you. Can't wait to see her!
Well, I am all set to go to my pre-op appointment this morning. I cannot believe that tomorrow at this time I will be up getting ready to go to the hospital. I am probably going to have to take a tylenol pm just to help me settle my nerves and sleep tonight. I finished putting everything away in her room last night and am going to go ahead and put the car seat in the car today along with my bag and the baby's bag, just in case.
Can't wait to see all these babies in their costumes! Post some more pics ladies. I want to see Olivia's TR cousins!

hi ladies! i almost bought some EPO tonight, I had it in my cart at traget but put it back b/c i got scared that it would make me sick or something. but i guess it seems to work. maybe i'll get some next time i'm at the store. i've been getting alot of braxton hicks contractions the past few days, well pretty much since the dr checked me on fri. i guess i probably have a while to wait, i'm still not due for 4 more weeks. i'm just getting so excited to meet my little girl, it feels as though i've been waiting forever. but really, i stil have so much stuff i need to get, my baby shower is the 25th. i still need to pack my bag too but i can't remember what all i need. well, i'm going to go try to finish my homework, and get some sleep. i think i may be getting sick too:(

I guess I am going to try it again. contractions are 4 minutes apart. I am going to hospital again.... I got to see the moon come up as I was walking so that was cool.
hoping this it for me and anyone else thats close.
i guess tonight we will know if it all works. I used the EPO on my cervix a little bit ago and I am off to walk. There is also a full moon tonight so I do have a little bit of hope. I pray this all works. I will keep you posted.
I wonder if anymore fall babies will be born in light of the full moon?

Karen- I agree with the other girls! If you're not getting the 10 kick-count/ hour, I say call the doc! How often are you having NSTs?
Jen- Are you getting nervous yet? Your big day is just around the corner! Remember Olivia's TR aunties want to hear baby stats and see pictures!
Last night I had contractions for about 3 hours at 10-15 mins apart... Then they stopped. My poor DH started to freak out after about 2 hours... He's been Mr. Calm until now, but I guess he thinks since we have an induction date set that the baby coming naturally wasn't a possibility... silly guy.
Hope everyone is enjoying these last few days / weeks of pregnancy... and the first days of new mommyhood again!

Well unfortunately I have never really given up caffeine.... so she must be use to it and it doesn't really get her movin. I went out and bought OJ and it got her to move a little so I at least still knew she was there, but I just can't get over how active she was and how "sleepy" she is now.

Karen, my little one was "sleepy" this morning during my NST and they had me drink a caffeinated soda... it got her moving pretty quickly... It might be an option for you if you don't have OJ at home... Hope all is well. Bonnie

Yea I have heard of kick counts but no one ever told me to do them. At my last NST they had me drink a lot of OJ and it got her moving like asap, but only lasted about 30 seconds.
Maybe I will go to the store tonight and grab some O.J.

Bonnie, isn't it funny how that worked out. LOL
Karen, try the kick count three different times a day. If movements are low drink someting with sugar and lay on your left side to see if they increase. Less than 10, just like Traci said, go to L&D, or call dr.
Jen! We're having another little one added to the list family this week!! It's so exciting. Are you all ready now?

Anita, So happy for you that you have a date now!!
I go this Wednesday for my pre-op appointments at the dr and hospital and then my c-section is scheduled for 11:00 this thursday!! Had a few bouts of regluar strong contractions this weekend. They would we 5-6 minutes apart and last for about an hour and a half. Then they would just stop and then start back up a couple of hours later. They were strong enough to really make you sit up and notice. Didn't bother calling the dr though because I can't imagine actually dilating at all with this one when I never got past 1.5 cm with the other three, even with the use of pitocin. One doctor told me that I have an usually hard and thick cervix. LOL!!
Well, I am offically 38 weeks and 1 day and have now carried this little one longer than I did any of my boys. now I just can't wait to find out how big she is and I will find out in less than 72 hours. AHHH!!!!
