Anita- yeah for an end in sight!- and one in time for a costume too!!
Amy- I've heard of people taking epo orally-just 1/2Xday, AND inserting it vaginally to soften the cervix. most people on my ff due date board started doing this at 37 weeks- but it isn't typically known to induce labor right away, just make things more favorable. gl!
karen- are you doing kick counts? so long as babe is passing that test, I wouldn't be too concerned. you might just have a laid back baby in there! rowan wasn't too active from that pointn on, and is a super sleepy baby. if not kicking enough for the kick count (10 movements/hour) then head into docs right away! I know its hard not to worry, gl!

Hey ladies, I have a quick question.... well concern really....
Natalie has been really active and moves all the time. Well for like the past week I hardly feel her. I had a NST thursday, and they commented on how she wasn't very active but didn't seem concerned considering I was just 30 weeks. Well ever since than, Im still feeling hardly anything and my stomach hurts.... its like really sore. I go for an echo tomorrow, my appointment and u/s wednesday and than another NST thursday. Maybe I am getting myself worked up for nothing it is just really strange not feeling her.
I took EPO the night before my 38 week-- I read it will not start or induce labor IF you are not already ready( make sense?) The EPO will help THIN you so if you are thinning or just about efaced then it should start you into labor... I hadn't been checked at all at 38 weeks and no contractions.. SO I inserted TWO EPO pills at 7 PM on Sunday night- At 11:15 PM (that night) I woke up with contractions 5 mins apart and watery blood when I went to the bathroom- AT 12 o'clock my contractions were 3 mins apart and I woke up my DH because it was time to go to the hosptial- I arrived at the hospital at 1:45 ( I had to call the DR to get permission to go to teh hospital and I had to pack still and I kept changing my clothes) SO I got to the hospital at 1:45 AM and my baby was born at 2:15 AM So I really don't know if the EPO helped or if I was really ready to go anyway.... There have been three girls on the March 07 thread that all used it too.. SOme it took a few weeks before they went into labor and others a few days... Mine were a few hours (lol) I will try it again with my next PG again at 38 weeks. Good Luck and I hope it works for you too... I was SO worried about having a big baby and wanted to have him now (hahaha) it worked!!!!

Well, they did check me. I'm 1-2 cm. She said they didn't want me to go over 39 weeks, so if he hasn't come by Oct 29, I'm being induced. I have my date now. Maybe I can relax a little.

Traci and Rowan, glad to hear the weight is going up.
Jen. I just told DH this weekend that I would feel much better if someone would just say he will definately be here on such and such a date. It's the not knowing I hate. I went a few days over with my last two, but I don't remember being this anxious.
Danielle, I'm glad she checked out ok. It is scary when they slow down. I'm all the time pushing on my belly to get a little wiggle.
Victoria, welcome to the world little one! Dawn, I'm sure she's beautiful. Glad your labor wasn't bad. As far as the breathing through contractions when it come to push time....been there, done that, and you're right. It's awful.
Amy, I wish I had a magic cure for you. Becki did use the EPO. I'm sure she'll check in soon and tell you about it. She gives the credit for her quick delivery to EPO. And I totally agree with your DH.
I have a Dr appt this a.m. I hope they check me this time.
It's so exciting to see all the new babies joining our families... There's just something about a TR baby that makes it all the more exciting to hear of their miracle births! Hope everyone had a great weekend.

I bought Evening Primrose oil but after reading everything online I am not sure I should try iy. I don't know. Anyone have experience with it? There is a full moon in a few days maybe then, I guess only time will tell...

Got home yesterday but very busy getting the little ones used to their new baby sister. Some jealous little ones but its getting better.
Victoria made her appearance on 10/10/2008 at 4:02 am. She weighed 6 lbs 14oz and is 20 1/2 in long.
She is a very good baby hardly cries. We are working on breastfeeding. I am determined to make it work this time. I think she is having some latch on problems because it is sore when she latches on but we are working on it.
My water broke at 12:45pm on Thursday. We got to the hospital around 3pm and i was contracting every 2 min but not feeling anything then they totally stopped. We started some pitocin around 9:30pm and contractions started but slowly. They were not strong enough to make me dilated. Around 3:15 am checked me and I was only 3cm and 90% effaced. My doctor wanted me to have some nubane to make me sleep but Vicoria had other ideas. Right after they gave it to me the contractions started. At 3:50am I had one killer contraction. The nurse called for the resident to check me and I was ready to push. They woke up my doctor and I didn't think he was going to be there to deliver but he made it. Breathing through the contractions until he got in the room was the worst. Once he got there it was two pushes and she was here. She was 36 weeks exactly and scored 9/9 on her apgars. We absolutly love her. She is the perfect addition to the family.
Good luck to everyone still waiting for their little ones. It is so worth the wait.

good evening ladies, I am still around. I ended up going to the mall today. Kids were out of school today so my mom took them to the movies and I pushed Elijah around in his stroller. We ended up walking over 3 miles. Tonight my status is this...
contractions are here but not real regular. the bloody show I had this morning is gone so I guess it was just where they checked me. I had a taco salad for lunch and then one for dinner. Maybe the combination of it all will help. My back is hurting very low tonight but I don't know if its from the walking or begining of labor... My husband says that all men should be shown how to check your cervix to save time and all the hospital trips..
well I only have three kids at home tonight so its a break for me. I am going to put Elijah to bed and go soak in the tub.
