Sorry I took so long to get back to you all. The u/s went good. The baby's heart rate is 189! Yikes thats high, but good that it is beating strong. Everything looks good so far, but I am having a level 2 ultrasound done in 3 weeks to get a more in depth look of things. Im still spotting, but they dont know where it is coming from. Christbride I have had 4 c-sections this will be my 5th and last. Congrats on the baby girl. We are hoping for a boy for Isaiah to play with because I have 3 older daughters 16,14,10. And Isaiah needs a little brother but we will take whatever GOD gives us.

Happy Birthday Tia! I hope you have a great day! Mama...I know how you feel....I wanted to know so bad I was about to burst...I asked the u/s tech first if the baby was healthy and growing good...once she told me yes...I was like well? Can we tell what it is?! No doubt its a girl. Usually anything over the high 150's is a girl...and under its a boy...my baby was in the mid 150's for a while...figures! Then it slowely with every visit got higher...now its consistently in the 160's. I hope you all have a great day...I am having my hair cut/colored today....yay..I haven't had it done since July! I look rough..lol Michelle
Hey Ladies!! -- DH and I just got back from a 3 day trip to Asheville, NC to tour the Biltmore...what a LONG drive that was from the DC area! We had a great time, but I'm glad to be back. My 40th bday is tomorrow and I'm hoping to do almost nothing
Christbride -- Congrats on the baby girl!!
My baby's heartbeat ranges from 130-140..my instinct is that I'm having a boy, but I just continue to feel blessed that things are going well!
I go on Monday for my monthly check up..then I'll be preparing for my trip to FL in November.

Congratulations Christbride!! A girl how super sweet I should find out what mine is on Monday, I think mine's a boy but am wishing for a girl. We'll see what happens!
Heather I know how it is, when I work too hard it's sit and do nothing for 2 -3 days... Spotting and cramping are really hard to deal with. I had that all the way through with my last DD literally up until I delivered it was horrible!!!! I couldn't stop working. I had to work I did take it a little slower though, cut down the hours so that I could rest a teeny bit more. I had told the Dr. but it was we can't do anything about it, you just need to take it easy... there's no meds or anything you can take for it. Hopfully your body adapts to it. Is there any way you can cut your hours down? Just a little? that may help. Sometimes 2 days of rest in a row, can make a world of difference. It can stop it, let things take hold better then it's ok, that's how it was for me. Maybe sit with your family and have the ever popular talk " Look guys, it's time for you to start doing the housework.... " seriously. They need to do this stuff not you.... they don't like doing it, but they will. My kids do it when I need the break. They know. If you can't cut your hours, your days off absolutely need to be your days off.

i know what you mean heather. i don't carry my own insurance, but bed rest is not an option for me right now. that's why i'm not telling the doctor about any pain or contractions or anything right now. first thing he is going to say is bedrest. i hope the cramps ease up. have you had previous c-sections before?
thanks michelle. my daughter is excited. my son says he don't care because if it doesn't listen, he's giving it to my daughter. (8year olds). i think he likes the fact that is still the only boy. the pain has subsided. comes and goes.

Hello everyone, Tomorrow is my 9 week u/s I have been waiting for 2 weeks to have this done. It will be 16 days since I had the last one. I did see and hear the heartbeat last time, but I am still spotting and it is so frustrating. I am having tons of cramps today, but that might be because I worked 11 hours today. I am so afraid they are going to tell me I have to quit working and take it easy, because I carry my own health insurance and I dont know what I will do. I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow.

Yay..another one for the pink team. Congrats to you and your dh! I also have to go back in 2 weeks to have another one because my baby was moving as well...they have much to much room in there right now! LOL.....I hope the contractions are letting up! Much to early for those.
I have to go back in 4 week to do another ultrasound, the baby would not stop moving so they couldn't get everything they needed. i was also having contractions during the ultrasound. so i will let my dr know when i see him or if they continue, i will call him tomorrow.
