I have heard what Mary-MI said also. In some cases as many as 5 days it can live. I think the average must be 72 hrs. That's what I see and hear the most, but have also heard about up to 5 days.

Thanks. I am so eager I just want it to happen right away. I told DF that if we do the baby dance the night before the surgery maybe the sperm would simply swim right through lol.

I have read that it is up to 72 hours that sperm can live. Depends on your cycle and when you are ovulating whether it is possible to get pregnant before AF after TR. You should ovulate 'around' 14 days before AF. You may want to use temping, calendars, or ovulation kits to help you with pinpointing ovulation. I personally haven't used any of these just yet. I have been researching the ovulation kits some though.
Hope you get some more answers that may be able to help you.
