It may sound weird, but I have used Emu Oil as well as vitamin E.

Rubbing Vitamin E oil over the healing incision as suggested by hpygrl will help to soften it and reduce the itching.

You may want to take some Benadryl and put some Cortisone on it. I dug mine till it literally opened back up! Atarax could help to but that is Rx only. Try some Benadryl. [Smile]

Thank you. I have been putting Neosporin on it and it still itches. I guess I just have to deal with it but it is driving me crazy!

Mine was itchy too. I kept Neosporin on it. I've been told itcing means it's healing, so that is a good thing! [Smile]

I had my TR on 10/27 and started putting vitamin E oil on the incision site as soon as the steri strips came off. I have not had any itching or burning so far.

The itchy feeling is tough. I would put neosporin on it....just a thin rubbed in layer. This sooths the skin a little....just wait the next part of healing is the stretching and burning. It's not too bad but i kept checking the site to make sure everything was OK and it always was.
