Hey Jess, I had my midwife appointment today...all is really well. We've started to talk about packing hospital bag and all that exciting stuff!! We cant tell if the baby is still breech but I have an u/s next thursday so we will know for sure then. If it is then I go to see her friday to try and do the flip!! Im hoping this baby finally decided to flip on its own. WOW I cant beleive your already dilating!!! How exciting is that!! OMG our babies are coming!! I am a true lover of Christmas but this is far more exciting than even that!! Have a great afternoon ladies! Roxanne

My midwife always warns me about spotting after a check so maybe that is what it was *hopes*
I lost 2 big chunks of mucus plug last night and htis mornign (horse snot is a perfect description, ugh!) It is finally sunny here so we are taking the dog on a loooong walk after lunch maybe that will get things going more!

Sorry Hopes, I mis read your post. Karen is right, sometimes after a check i too have to wear a panty liner. sorry about the confusion. Tia, I am excited too! I can't wait til we all have our winter babies!! Karen, Hope you and Natalie are doing good. I am sorry my posts have been rather short but its getting very uncomfy to sit here at my desk. Hopes, everytime my doctor checked me she told me I may need a pad because I may bleed some. I never did, but I am guessing that may be what it is from.

Jess, the one time i lost my mucus plug it was like horse snot....so this is totally different. I was wondering if after they check you if you can cause you to bleed?
i haven't had sex since i concieved...so maybe my cervix just isn't used to being disrupted????

OK, Just got home and we may be having this baby next week end!!!! the dr says i will be full term by next week and we are 50% effaced and 2cm's dialated. She also said that DJ has flipped over and is now in the right possition. so what I am feeling is actual braxtonhicks/contractions. and I've gained 2 lbs in a week. so everything is on the move! Jess, I too felt like Natalie was RIGHT there for a few weeks before she came even though I was induced 3 weeks early. At what point she descended, I have my idea my delivery went so fast. As far as pumping, I tried doing that as well and I just don't think I was producing enough and she ate a lot more off the bottle. Sometimes I would be lucky to pump 1/2 ounce to an ounce. I could pump enough to get us through the night but I had to feed her myself all day. She is doing much better, last night she ate at 9, 11 than 1 and slept till 5 am ate and is just getting up.

Hey ladies, Just dropping in real quick to say hey. Jess, for the last two weeks before I delivered, I felt like Kyle was going to fall out. But, he did not descend until I started to push. The doctor says this is common in women who have had a lot of kids.
