Hey Karen, don't be upset sweetheart. Its ok. I'd like to smack that nurse for you, Makes me so mad when you try as hard as you can and they make it worse. I tried with my 1st child(he's 19 now) and nothing worked. I felt like i gave up on him. but then I realized that it doesnt work for everyone and I was ok with it. you will be too chin up, as long as she is healthy and you are too, its ok. Formula keeps them fuller at night also and you'll actually get some sleep. as far as filling up, try using 2 sandwhich size ziplocks with ice and put each one in a sock and over your bra. It helps with engorgment. also you may want to try raw cabage leaves. they actually help the best. or even if you prefer, she still can have your milk if you pump. either way, you've done good!!! no worries mommy, the first 3 days are really colostrum and they need that the most! send me some different pics and I will put them on for you, I want to see her purdy hair! (lol) Natalie was born like that too, i was able to put her hair up in a tiny tie-up. heee tee maybe it's in the name..LOL. anywho. try not to worry so much, sit back, relax, let Daddy feed her a bottle and just gaze in the awe at the daddy feeding the wee one. lots of hugs to you and baby girl Natalie,Jess

Karen, I'd love to see her hair, too.. And for size, my DD was 6' 12oz, and she's now 5' 11", and a good sized woman (she's 24)... I keep sneaking back to have a peek at her pictures, and just can't get over how beautiful and perfect she is! Hoping you feel better, too...

I must agree she is quite beautiful lol....we got lucky she didn't end up to tiny... just perfect The ultrasound tech was dead on actually, I was suprised.... I figured she was going to be 5lbs something...she did do really well!! Never too early to make momma proud.
Lynn, Thank you I can't wait to see that boy of yours!! I know exactly what you mean... my son is 9 but it is like I almost forgot how in love you are with these babies when they are born.
Jess- Thank you very much for posting pictures for me, haha I don't think I would have ever figured it out!! As for breastfeeding, unfortunately I folded.... what is even more discouraging is how bad everyone looks at me for it... I went to a nurse and instead of helping me she sort of made things worse for s. I tried, I really did but it got to a point where I thought even though it is the best food for her, I think it would benefit us more at this point for me to stop I was scared of becoming depressed if I went any longer. Now though I am all swollen and full of plugged ducts I am in A LOT of pain.
p.s. Natalie was born with a head full of hair, I just noticed that I failed to include a picture of her hair haha unfortunately I think she is starting to lose it

good morning everyone! Karen, Hope everything is going easier for you with bf'ing sweety! Like I said, hang in there. Lynn, where are pictures of that beautiful little boy????? I want to see him! well, I was just sitting here contemplating on weather to update my ticker or not. My actual due date is 12/30 but as everyone knows we're schedualed to have that c-section on the 23rd. I thought maybe i'd just make that the due date. I dont know. Listen. I have a serious question.. Lynn and Karen, how long before you had the babies did you drop? I know its onlt been 2 years since natalie came but i dont remember feeling this much pressure or dropping so fast. i am hoping because this is our 7th child he may come a week earlier. LOL! not too early mind you, just 1 week. I was just wondering if you dropped right before delivery. well, Off running i go, i will be back later, Hugs,Jess

Karen, words can not express how beautiful she is.Lynn cant wait to see your little man.Jennifer my birthday is 12/15 good day to have a baby so I guess your next.I am not due until Christmas eve,hope its a week early.will be 37 weeks tomorrow my Dr. said its considered full term so he can come any time after tomorrow i dont care but my husband want him to wait until he is on his Christmas vacation for two weeks due to there working so short already.We know that this kid is coming when he is good and ready take care everyone.

AAAAHHHHH Karen she is sooooo beautiful. And look at her being all 6lbs and 5oz. What a great job she did!! You look great also. What a wonderful miracle. I hope you are feeling well and basking in the glory of being a brand new mommy!! Congratulations!! I can hardly wait. Roxanne

Hi All. I know I never post. Congratulations to those who have already had their precious babies. I am having my C-section on December 15th at 3 p.m. We are planning on naming our little one Julia Frances, but there are still days to go and the name could change. Blessings to everyone for healthy babies and safe deliveries.

Karen: she is so beautiful. I don't know about you but, I am in love with my little man, Kyle. It is amazing to me that no matter how many children you have, your heart just expands more and more to love everyone of them.

Good morning ladies, Kyle came home yesterday and everything is fine. He is the most laid back kid. I will post pics later today. But, just wanted to let you know that we are home and fine. Okay batter up.... who's next? I can't wait to see.

Thank you everyone anddddd CONGRATS LYNN!!! It is so funny how we went through this together from when we found out until delivery... joking about our cyber twins..... they came pretty close to being born on same day. Hope all is well and you are enjoying him as much as my family is Natalie!!
