Author Topic: **Winter Mama's 5** **hopes** Member # 8326 posted                    I had my 3-d ultrasound today. I am sooooo excited for this little guy to come. I, too, am having a lot of contractions. And am effacing and am 1 cm dilated. I want to hold this little guy in my arms so much and tell him how much I love him and how he's just perfect. All the kids are soooo excited about his arrival. I hope we don't have to wait 6 more weeks! angelsbaby629 Member # 1996 posted                    I typed out this whole long response earlier and it didnt go through, but short and sweet: Karen, try to keep natalie in as long as possible, my drs told me that gabby weighed between 6 & 7lbs at 36 week sand she was only 5-10. good luck sweetheart. Roxanne, i seen the pics, you look great! I will post a new pic soon. Did you ever just think sometimes they got your edd wrong? I swear i feel like dj is going to fall out soon. poor kid has no room to move any more and I am feeling it badly. I love being pg but right now i am just uncomfy but willing to deal with it . well, I just got home from a VERY long day and I have to run to the food store then I can come back and put my tail end on the couch and watch some tv with my swollen legs up. I know some fall ladies that inserted them vaginally and a couple had success with labor. But it only works if you are already dilating or efaced. Jess, I would like to TRY and breast feed but I don't have a pump Roxanne, I am not sure if age has anything to do with it. I am 27, and my first baby came early. I finally got them on!! Told you I was huge!! I feel like we need to take weekly photo's now, it seems we are getting bigger by the day!! I just wondered...It seems like most the ladies due for Dec. are going to be having babies soon. Is it common for us to go early?? Is it an age thing?? Im just curious to know if I should kinda be expecting this baby a little early. I have two friends that just had babies ( they are younger) and they both were about 10 days overdue. I really have been thinking that is probably going to be the story here too. I would love to think it will be earlier though!! Well Last night I put DJ's bassinette together and it's just too cute! One of my very close friends bought the 4 in 1 from simplicity. It doesnt go with his "theme" but it's ok because its poohbear it's pretty neet a bedside sleeper, a cradle, bassinette, and a changing table. really nice! oh, btw, sorry for all the typo's! sometimes my brain wants to go faster then my fingers can type. ok, so is everyone finally finished shopping for the wee ones? I am just about done. I need to get a couple of things for my bag to take with and a few things for DJ and then I am offically done!(he he he I keep looking over at the bassinette) Although he wasnt planned it still amazes me that we're actually having a BOY! I was told that it'll sink in the day I hold him. and I think they are right. We do have 2 boys now but they are 19 & 16 and it seems so very long ago that they were so tiny! and after 3 girls in a row.. this lil one is going to be spoiled(like the rest were) by his momma ok, instead of rambeling I have some school functions to take care of this morning and I must get dressed. I was told if I wanted to "push" the issue of having DJ 2-3 days earlier that I could try pumping breast milk and freezing it. something in doing that starts labor.. Just a thought but be careful! It is supposed to work if you are already close, like you. It can move things along quickly. Good luck! onemoretracy Member # 11509 posted                 I had a dr's appt. yesterday and a NST for the first time. I have been in lots of pelvic pain so she checked me and I am 1cm and 50 percent. She said the baby is "right there " and she could touch her head! I am having contactions pretty much daily. Most are no big deal but a few have been a bit painful. She told me she hopes I can get to 37 weeks! I am a little shocked! I am going in for an u/s with a perinatologist on Monday to check on her fluid and size. Jess, you movie for the kids is a great idea. That boy of yours is decent size lol Natalie as of Monday was 5lbs 15oz. Ann, yup pretty soon!! 5 days to be exact LOL. Jess, thanks for checking on us I keep trying sex haha but it just doesn't seem to be working, not like it did Sunday anyways. I am so darn impatient its not funny, I keep asking myself what I would do if I had to actually wait until my due date. I think I would go nuts!! Two more appointments and I am done!! Thursday I have a NST and Friday a U/S than Sunday here I comeeeeee! Karen & Natalie angelsbaby629 Member # 1996 posted                    Ann, it is becoming a painful 5 weeks left...LOL when i went to the drs on friday she said that the aby is in possition already. I am a waddlin around here like nothing going. the kids laugh at me.. but theres alot of time when I am off my feet because of my left leg swelling. I chalk that p to having my knee surgery and the cold weather. it does help the pressure tho to be up and off of them. I too wanted to be home for christmas but that doesnt look like its happening. they have schedualed the c-section for dec 23rd and if memory serves me correct the baby and I will be discharged around the 26 or 27th. I tell the kids that its ok though, i wont be really missing christmas, I'll be handeling our new gift I figured out what to do for the lill ones too. I am going to make a dvd of me telling them not to worry just enjoy opening there gifts so my dh can put it on tv x-mas morning. I figured that would help the lil ones right along with the bigger kids. we'll see what happens. anyway, as you all can tell, everythign is up and running again and i can sit in my chair at home and check in on all of you. I hated not being able to do that. Thank you Lynn for starting the new thread. I was worried that we were going to fall way behind. I hope all of the momma's are doing good and baby's are snug as a bug. Karen, let us know whats going on with you and sweet Natalie. We are getting close.I will be 35 weeks tomorrow already having some contraction but nothing painful 5 weeks to go. Karen, you may be going in pretty soon I am so excited for you.Jess you and I are due around the same time. Thanks! lynngirl1976 Member # 9792 posted                    Oh Karen, I am so excited and jealous, I can't wait to get this baby out, am going to doc again tomorrow to see when we can induce. I had my u/s on friday and they told me the baby was between 7.5 and 8 pounds already. sooo, good luck on Monday and let us know as soon as you can.
