Thanks so much for the well wishes. I am going to try and wait it out until Monday unless the spotting gets worse. I don't know, maybe I'll change my mind by Saturday...lol.I do feel pretty good. I am a little crampy, and my lower back is hurting a little. I am trying so hard to stay positive!

Shannon - way to go on the BFP!! What a confusing month for you though! As long as the spotting does not turn bright red, you should be okay until Monday to see your doctor - many of them will suggest waiting until your "late" anyway - even though the protocol is to be seen immediately. Anyway - there is always the urgent care (ER), you can tell them your pregnant and bleeding and they will do your draws and send the numbers to your doc. This may not be a bad option if you can't wait - I would also tell them you don't know how far along you are since last month may not have been a regular period after all. If your numbers come back high - request an ultrasound - just to make sure everything is okay and that the baby is not in the tubes. The fact that you're feeling pretty good is a good sign - but just watch for any signs that might mean e/p.

I'll be praying for you and stalking the boards for an update!

Congrats!!

Congrats!!! First things first keep breathing. LOL Is your doctor aware of the protocal that Dr. Berger insists we follow? If so I would call the office and have the on call Dr. call you back to see if there are other options to get your blood drawn tomorrow and then you can go in again on Monday. In regards to your brown spotting I don't want to day not to worry because I know I wouldn't be able to but I wanted to let you know that for the first four months that I was pregnant with my DD I had my period on time each month. When I had the first U/S I didn't see the little bean like most I saw a whole darn baby. Good Luck!!

OMG! Everyone...I just took a hpt...BFP!!!! I am so scared though! I am still having brown spotting. It has been light, but for 6 days now. My Dr.'s office is closed, and it is the weekend. I don't know what to do.

Good morning new dreams! I just love DC! THat was my first duty assignment back when I was a private. I was only stationed there for a year, but I loved it! I remember going to Baltimore, and taking the Ferry Over to Fell's Point to gorge myself on all you can eat crab.

My body decided to give me a break last night, and passed gas at around nine thirty at night. I made a bee line for the phone and ordered mashed potates and toast from room service.

I still feel good this morning....just sore. We fly out this afternoon.

hugs,

Elle

Well, in Baltimore today. Walked all over DC yesterday and I gotta say, I feel like I've been hit by a truck! Gonna try to take it a little easier today. Incision is starting to drive me nuts. Burning, pulling, and itching! AAAHHH!! Elle, doesn't it suck when you're hungry and you can't eat!? Took me till 11:30 on Tues. and I hadn't eaten since 7pm Sun. I was dying! But my gas pains were OUTRAGEOUS! At least that part is better now.

Well girls I figured out why I wasn't feeling well at all! I almost passed out at work today...Out of nowhere started sweating and turned white as a ghost and had horrible shooting pains in my lower abdomen.

Turns out I have a nice size ovarian cyst on my left side. UGH! It hurt like hell excuse the language [Frown] !

I had one burst about 9 years ago and well here we go again. They gave me a couple shots in the rear end and ooo that was fun tee hee. I have some painkillers until they see what this thing does.

It puzzles me though that my doctor said that it may have been a result from the difference in my hormone levels after TR. I have read these boards for years even before I signed in and made my appt and I have never heard that. Don't get me wrong I like my doctor but she is family practice not obgyn. I'm just wondering if that could be true??

Does anyone know?

I miss you girls and as soon as I get through all this CRAP I will be on more often to chat!

Miss you NAT! Celeste! Sharon!! Hangin in there Lesley and Amy??

XOXO
Stacy

Hi guys! I am finally here! This post is a copy paste from the Waiting Room. Thanks for welcoming me. I am so excited!

hey ladies!!! I have officially crossed to "the other side". So, let me share my experience with you all: I flew out here with hubby on tuesday night and checked in to the hotel at one in the morning. You will love the hotel! It is so very nice, very modern and chic. Hubby and I stayed in one of the club rooms--huge bed. The restaurant had great food.

We had the consult on Weds. I met everyone, and was very impressed by how nice and welcoming everyone was. Dr Monteith is a sweet heart, and very down to earth and professional. I have never had a vaginal utrasound before but was very comforted when the nurse said how great everything looked. She even pointed out the lining, and said that AF right around the corner by the thickness of the ling, which is true. I am due today or tomorrow. She was even able to tell me that it looked like I ovulated from the left side this month. So Cool! At least I know I am ovulating! [celebration]

We spent the rest of Wednesday checking out Chapel Hill. There is great dining and shopping in the Area. I did not sleep very well last night, on account of being so excited. When I woke up this morning though, I was very at peace, and ready.

We got there at eight. It was very nice, how I was treated, with ternderness, and a caring, that is almost impossible to find in most heathcare settings today. I was third to go in. Getting an IV in me can be diffiucult even for the most experience of technitians, on account that I am challenged when it comes to having good veins. It took two tries. Once I was in the operating room, it was too quick for words. I was out in less than 30 secs. Before I knew it, I was in recovery with hubby and the nurses, waking me up. I don't remember getting dressed, or the ride back to the hotel. When I woke up, I was not dizzy or sick or anything...just really hungry. I was and am still not in any pain. They give you pain pills-oxycontin. But I only took half of one this afternoon.

I even went walking around this evening with hubby downtown because he was hungry, as he refused to leave my side the entire day, and did not, could not eat anything. I had to jealously watch him eat a huge burrito from Qdobas, as I sat and drank my apple juice like a good girl, since I have not passed gas, or gone number two yet. Hopefully, I will soon.

Anyway, the lengths are L-3.5 and R-4.0. I am on CD 32 (I have long cycles)I apreciate all the support and you all thinking of me. Peace and Love.

Elle
