I am not sure that gas was really my issue. I was just plain sore. The constipation was the issue after the soreness kind of went away. Then, after the soreness goes away, you get the ichy feeling where you want to rip the incision open and scratch!!!!! LOL Sorry, I know that wasn't what you wanted to hear but its the truth!

OK, my first official post-tr question! Did any of you deal with seriously kicking your butt gas pains? I've been burping since I got out of surgery, but no passing gas til around 11 am today. I was seriously starving by then too! Cause you can't eat til your bowels are functioning, ya know. Well, since then I have had a BM, sorry if TMI, and I've taken Gas-X, but I'm dying here! Such horrible pains in my stomach, chest, and right shoulder area it is making me cry. Reminds me of my tr when they fill you up with gas, but no one mentioned that they do that for tr? Any ideas? We wanna sightsee in DC tomorrow, and if I feel like this......

loveofalifetime-I also did not like the answer brand of opk's. They NEVER gave me an answer! I switched. I am anxiously awaiting AF. I can't wait for her to show so I can start testing and figuring out my cycle after TR. I should start AF tomorrow, at least thats what it was before TR. My DH and I went out and bought a crib...I know! I shouldn't have...it snowballed all kinds of things. We then had to buy bedding for the crib, then we had to buy a diaper stacker to match, then wall hangings!!!! SOMEONE STOP US!!! lol

loveofalifetime: I don't use opk's but I have read on other threads that some women don't like the "answer" brand, it never gave them an answer! Some have suggested switching to another brand - I guess it is different for every woman. Have you noticed any other changes around ovulation time, like EWCM, or mild cramping?
I know for me that I had a 26 day cycle like clockwork before TR, and my first two after TR was 28, this last one was 27 and each month has been different. First one, I didn't feel AF coming at all. Second one, no cramps but spotting to start it off, and this third one - cramps for 5 days before she got here! I think the first few months are sort of an adjustment period for most, our bodies are trying to get normal again.
Hope this helps, and hopefully other's can pop in with more answers. Sarah

Yes, he has two daughters from his first marriage. I was testing everyday, even tried to do the 10am-2pm time frame as suggested. and like I said my cycles were like clock work.. I do not always spot before AF only once in a while the day before she arrives..Thanks

loveofalifetime....has DH ever fathered any children? Just curious if the issue could be with him. The OPKs can be difficult to get a positive some months, even with ovulation. If cycle comes regularly then you probably are ovulating, but may have a short LH surge and you just aren't catching it with the OPKs. What time of day do you test and on what cycle days do you test? Do you usually spot a day or two before AF arrives? If AF doesn't arrive, the spotting and cramps may be implantation signs.

Ok - it's official...AF is in full swing! At least she didn't make we wait. Natalie, when you update the list tomorrow, put me down for CD2. So...who's next on the list in the TWW? I'll try again next month, maybe I'll have an early Christmas present!

zachxlesley...a 10 day luteal phase is pretty short. You should talk to your doc about it. Clomid may help, or he may try progesterone supplements after "O". Good luck!
