I started on 08/24/08 on my diet, I went to a spa clinic in my area, before the doctor would give me anything to loose weight I had to have an EKG, thyroid profile amd medical consultation. After all my results were in (and good) I got a one month prescription of diet pills "Phentermine 37.5mg" and water pills. I go weekly to get a Lipo BC shot(fat burning lipotropic combination) which consist of: 500mg Vitamin C 50mg Vitamin B-1 50mg Vitamin B-2 50mg Vitamin B-6 50mcg Vitamin B-12 50mg Niacinamide 50mg Calcium Pantothennate 50mg Biotin 50mg Cholin 50mg Inositol 30mg Paba 400mcg Folic Acid
In a nut shell it emulsify fats and carbohydrates, increase lecithin in the liver,promotes fat burning, protects nerves and muscles and release's stored bile.
The pills curve your appetite and make you eat less. I find that it makes me want to only eat fruits and vegtables. You really think before you put anything into your mouth, because you see the results and you don't want to ruin them. I'm going to start excersising after the first of the year and I know I will loose it faster. I hope to loose the last 20lbs that way.

Tara..... It's weird...I don't see a difference when I look at myself in the mirror but I notice a difference in my clothes. All of them are to big now..... My co-workers and family say they notice it but I just don't see it (besides the scale weight!)

Hi Roxann - actually, I think my LP was fine - FF adjusted my ovulation date a couple of times since I didn't provide enough CM info. I think I ovulated a few days earlier than it says. So, now I'm just going to stay off meds and tests for a little while - at least for one cycle, maybe more. I might still temp, just to keep track of my cycle... but, with the holidays and a cruise in January - I know I will not be consistant with that.

Hello Rox, I have been sitting in bed for the last 3 hours and just couldn't sleep so i decided to read the message board. If you don't mind me asking how did you lose the weight. Sorry for not introducing myself. I had my TL in July 1998 and my TR in July 2005. My husband and I waited a year before trying to have a baby. I got pregnant with TR #1 after 2months of trying. Now I am pregnant with TR #2 and due in March 2009. Right tube was 4.0 and Left was 4.0. Let me say The first month of trying I did the temp, the ovulation kit, the counting of days you name it i did it. The second month of trying was the same thing. So we decided to skip doing the temp, the ovulaiton kit and etc. and what do you know I was pregnant. I say all that to say enjoy your husband without all the stress and see what happens. I hope you get a postive soon, all of you. Tasha

Lisa, Sorry to hear about your temp drop I checked out your chart and saw that you had a short LP.....maybe you need clomid and progesterone combination?? I know what you mean about being blessed for what you do have in your life right now, I know I got wrapped up in all of this TTC stuff I kind of put my own family on the back burner, I was just focused on meds and getting pregnant. After seeing it was not happening for me I finally realized maybe it was not ment to be for DH and myself. I know we tried our best and I'm ok with just that. I am very greatful for my three healthy, beautiful kids I already have. Thank you for the congrats on my weight loss, Still trying for 20 more lbs to loose. When I first started this diet on 08/24/08 I weighed 179 but now I weigh 159! I want to get down to 140.

Wel, no such luck for us, ladies. So, we are going to relax now and enjoy the holidays and our 1st anniversary and our upcoming cruise in January. After our cruise, we agreed to start training for a program "from couch to 5K". That's HUGE for DH, and pretty big for me too, since i'm not a runner at all. Anyway - babydust to the rest of you! For me, it will happen when it happens, I guess.

Well, my temp went below the cover line today, ladies...so, AF will show any minute. I have that early morning lab appointment, but i'm so tempted not to go, because of this temp drop. I suppose I better though.
After this, we are taking a little break from testing, and meds, and not stressing about it. Maybe it will happen on our cruise next month or maybe it won't happen at all. Either way, I am blessed that we have eachother and my boys.

Hi guys! CD 5 for me and thank goodness the post-IUD removal AF seems to be pretty much over. I had no idea I was going to bleed like that! (sorry...tmi alert!) I thought that maybe organs were falling out instead of uterine lining!!!
Anyway, Dr. B posted a testimonial from me and there is a beautiful pre-school photo of my TR baby who is 3. I thought I would share it in case anyone doesn't go over to that part of the site!

Just checking in.....sorry it took so long to update you about my ultrasound report. First off I'm kind of bummed about my doctor leaving her practice I really liked her but I understand why. She was put on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy and will not come back to work after the baby is born. So another doctor from the office went over my report. She said it was nothing to worry about, I have some fibroids and some cyst in the ovaries! I just think it's strange that I only have pain on CD 2-6 from it? She said it shouldn't effect my fertility but who know's for sure....right. I really want a lapo done but she just said it was not needed! I'm looking for a new doctor now, I feel like she scanned over my whole file right in the room with me, she didn't take the time to go over it before I got there. In my opinion, you can not say everything is ok with just that! Bottom line.... I will find a new doctor and go from there. The good news it that I have lost 20lbs so far, I need to get another membership on FF so I can update my weight ticker.
Enough about me, Lisa I'm cheering for you......We need a BFP here

Hi Tara - no symptoms yet...i'm thinking AF will end up showing up, but we'll see.
I gained weight after the TR and was never able to lose it. I've been on 6 cycles of clomid, and I'm not sure if it affected my weight or not. I had started exercising a little bit, and eating better - but, no weight loss. I remember going into my TR weighing at 115, and never to return. I can't get below 130 now, and I'm afraid to try anything drastic while TTC.
I sure hope the clomid works for you! The only issues I had with it, were headache and hotflashes. I did what others suggested, and took it late afternoon or evening.
So, we'll see what they find with my blood on Monday. Hopefully I wont have to wait too long for results.

Hello Ladies, Hope everyone is doing ok. Lisa how are you feeling? Any sypmtoms yet? Well I called my RE and advised AF showed so she called me in another script of clomid. She said we will try for 2 more cycles. So I'll do that and see what happends. Lisa Did clomid make you gain wieght? Just curious wanting to blame something for it. Have a wonderful evening everyone !
