Can I be added to the list? My TR was 03/17/09, with tube lengths of R-5 and L-4. Today is CD 16. Thanks

Hey Evie,
sorry it took so long to get back with you. I lost around 18 pounds in 6 weeks. I wrapped my belly and thighs with plastic wrap. The sweat suit sounds like a good idea too.

Christy76, I totally understand, well let me know what the test says, I have no clue when I o'd this month or if I even did due to the TR but we have been trying so we will see what happens I should start on the 8th of this month I am hoping for a BFP but I don't think it is going to happen. I suffered from PTLS as well and since the TR I can see some change so far but we will see how AF acts as well, I will probably see changes every other day but lately I have not felt like my self I almost feel like I am watching my self or something it is wired but that all could be due to stress of the TR, traveling, moving, life ect. Also that pulling will be some what gone like christy said after the all it take off. Hope you feel better.

sorry for the long post ladies

Desiree,
I will test tomorrow if no AF just to make sure. My jeans hurt too. They sit right there on the incision. Luckly, my dress clothes I have to wear to work are a little looser otherwise I would be misserable! My Pajama pants go on as soon as I get off work. My incision looks good also.

I know what you mean about PTLS. My biggest symptoms occur right before and during AF so I'm actually anxious for AF to get here to see if there is any difference for me. Once you cut the suture knots you won't feel that tugging feeling anymore. Just make sure you take it easy. Everytime I thought I was feeling better, I would "over do it" and then I would hurt again the next day.

Christy, glad you are feeling good, I can sit and stand pretty well without any pain I just can't wear my jeans because it rubs my incision site other than it being tender it looks really well. So have you started AF yet, if not do you plan on testing just in case?

ColleenMommyOf4,
glad you are feeling good, I had to stop taking the pain meds when I got home because they where messing with my stomach so bad as well as the IBpro. which was not fun for me...Hope you start feel good soon..

ljenkins: I had the same weight worries.. I started watching what I ate. I ate a high fiber cereal and low fat milk for breakfast. I ate a Weith Watcher or Lean Crusine meal for lunch with a glass of sugerless Ice tea. Then I ate a well balanced supper such as Baked Chicken breast, Green beans and a small baked potatoe with brummel and brown butter. I drak LOTS and LOTS of water all through the day. I made sure I did not snack at all through the day. If I absoultly had to have something, I had raw baby carrots. Then after supper i would take my kids for a 30 minute walk on the bike trail near our house. I ended up losing 4-5 pounds per week just doing this. The day my plane left for NC I was a nervous wreck but when I weighed in there, I was 6 pounds under. Also, Make sure when you weigh yourself, wear the exact same clothes that you are planning on wearing to consult. I bought a really light spring sun dress to wear. I weighed in 2 lbs lighter in the dress then I did in any of my jeans.
I know what I did won't work for everyone but I just thought I would share what worked for me! Good luck!

Desiree: I am feeling real good this week. I still hurt a little when I go from sitting to standing postion or vice versa but nothing I can't handle. I felt alot better after getting the suture knots on Saturday.

Sorry for the long post ladies!

colleenmommyof4, did you walk the 2 hours straight or did you break them down? I have a treadmill but I get a little bored [Frown] gosh it was so much easier when I was younger. I did buy me some headphones to hear music but I think because I'm by myself I loose focus ugh!! [Razz] but I'm gonna keep trying lol

caroljean776,
Thank you, I have not gotten my test from there yet but I should have them soon. Yes all this is very confusing for me as it is for others as well. Thank you for your support and as my questions a rise I will pop in to the other boards and ask. One of the reasons I started a new thread is there was just so much going on in the winter one that I figured a spring thread would be good since there were a ton of ladies that had there TRs in march and there is a lot in the following months. But the boards are for everyone... Thank you again
