Congrats, Colette! Those numbers sound great. I had my first TR baby at age 36.5. I am now 20 weeks with TR baby#2 and I am 41. I will turn 42 less than a month after giving birth. Both pregnancies have been textbook perfect. And my TR son, who just turned 5, is a beautiful, healthy child. Age is just a number! Don't let the stats frighten you. Best of luck with your pregnancy.

Hello Ladies, Haven't posted in awhile, but just wanted to let you ladies know and give some support. I had my Tr on 09/10/2007 and got my first BFP on 02/02/2008 and had my beautiful daughter on 10/01/08. She is now 7 1/2 months and I will be 41 next month. Don't let age scare you, it will be great. Have faith in God and yourself and all will be well. The only problem I had was my Blood pressure at the end. But I had gained alot of weight with the pregnancy also. So congrats and enjoy, and by the way we are currently trying for tr#2.

Colette, Congrats on your BFP. I know what you mean about age. My Tr baby is 13 months old and we are trying for TR baby #2. I am 39 so I am worried about my age. My OB says that age is a factor but I am healthy and that also makes a difference. Take your prenats every day and eat healthy as much as you can I know that can be a chalange when you are pregnant.LOL. DH and I said when we started that we fixed what I did and now it is up to God. He will not give you more than you can handle. So trust in your faith and all will turn out the way it is ment to. Best of luck to you for a Happy and HEALTHY 9 months.

Welcome, and Congrats! Don't worry about all the risks they drill into your head because of your age. I carried and delivered at 40, and it was the best pregnancy out of four, even though I had GD. I hope you have a happy healthy nine months!!

I totally understand your concern. I am 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I worry all day everyday. I am 36 years old. I don't really think it is my age that worries me. I think it's just that I realize what a miracle this baby is and I am scared to death of losing it. Anyway just wanted to let you know I am there with you.
