Okay, that makes me feel better. You read all the warnings and you get a little nervous about the possible problems. It is like wondering if the cure is worse than the disease. Thanks for the info. Georgia... I feel much better and am not concerned. If it can go in bath water then I am not worried. Thank you for all of your encouragement on this board. I know it has helped a lot of women that some of you that have been through this are here to help the rest of us through it. It is a huge help. I cannot believe that I only have 10 days till I leave. Excited and nervous. [Smile]

aliyahsdream - since the hospital gave it to me to use in my bath water post vaginal births, I think it's ok if it gets near or on your Va jay jay. It's perfectly safe and I'm happy it's available in drug stores now.

Walgreen's has it.... I used it for my TR over a year ago. I remembered it from when I had my kids pre-TL, the hospital always gave it to me.

Now here is a question that needs to be asked. If I am washing my stomach in the shower what is to stop the soap from going where it does not need to go, if you get my meaning? I am not sure that I want it around my vagina, etc. I realize the need for the soap, but am a little concerned about it at the same time.

i remembered this soap from discussing it in nursing school but i could not remember why...so i researched it and found out why...please be careful using it to make sure it does not come in contact with your eyes or ears as it can cause permanent damage....just thought id put that out there for everyone

Yes, you can purchase this at most drugstores or online.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you and have a nice weekend.

This is a new pre and post operative instruction. HibiclensŪ is a mild antiseptic, antimicrobial skin cleanser that should help minimize the possibility of post op infection by reducing the bacteria that are normally on the skin.

Please let us know if you have any further questions about this.

Okay, I just read on the site about the HibiclensŪ Soap. What is up with the soap. Initially I though we just had to wash with regualar soap. I just ran accross this. Where do I get it and what if I cannot find it?
