Harmony is growing like a weed. she is crawling (4 months), flipping, and running in the walker. she is laughing out loud at everything and babbling up a storm. she's going to have a big mouth like her momma. i hope you guys check in soon.

You are funny Christbride...NOT having that, huh? [Big Grin]

Well, we recently...ahem..."spent time together in a Biblical sense", and it wasn't at all uncomfortable. I'm thankful for that, since Henry was delivered very quickly, I had a tear with a few stitches, so I was concerned.

Two days ago, and today I had some spotting. Since it is pink, and my lochia was completely turned to the brown then white a couple weeks ago, I think it's more of cycle type stuff than PP stuff. He had been sleeping longer stretches at night, and last night was 8.5 hrs-from a bit before 9 till 5:30, so I don't expect I'll enjoy an AF free life for long...though I'm thankful for his sleeping well.

I hope you are all doing well. I hope you find the bc that works well for your preferences and such. I know that can be difficult.

Say hello when you can. I try to read this thread a couple times a week.

God Bless!

Everyone is doing so good that is great to see!
Charlie is laughing, smiling and a really good baby at 3 months old.
AF started again. So I'm back to normal took BC to regulate for 1 month now I'm off of it and back to normal.
Andrea I think we waited 8 weeks I had bleeding troubles. All is well now. Being careful, I don't want to get preg again right now at all. It's Charlie's baby time right now. He needs me to himself. [Smile]

Oh dear Andrea!!! LOL

Ummm honestly, as soon as the flow stopped, which was about 2 weeks after delivery. Of course things have been up and down since then, hormones, pills, etc. I am about to pull my hair out with this Seasonique stuff. If I "go" another week doing this (been 10 days now!!!), then I am stopping these. I went on them in hopes of not having the monthly monster. LOL

Woo hoo on the WW Joy! I will pray for you that you have strength to lose the weight you are working on! Gallbladder surgery, huh....my husband had his removed 2 years ago. I hope it cooperates nicely with you as you work to lose weight first.

Tia, your little man is SO adorable! Wow, he has gotten big, and looks like an "older baby"..geez, when does THAT happen?

How are the babies ladies??? I want pictures! My photo site has some that are always being updated, but haven't seen all of your babies in a while!

So, here is a TMI question ladies. How many of you "waited" for your 6 week checkup to...eh em...."resume intimacy with your luva", LOL!?

My 6 week checkup is the 17th, (I had a few stitches from a small tear) and I'm feeling all healed and ready to go! I'm not worried about BC...I'm nursing FT during the day and Henry sleeps 6-7 hrs at night-so I expect ovulation when I least expect it, but a pregnancy would be a delight in God's timing.

Anyway, I can't remember when we started up again with the other kids...just wondering. The doctor saying "ok go ahead" doesn't really change much, right?

I hope you are all well, and the babies are being sweet and loved on. I can't wait to see some pictures.

God Bless,

Andrea

Hey Everyone!! Wow...it has been a long time since I've been here...my outdoor tournament season started and I'm so busy I can't see straight! Nicholas is doing great! He had his 4 month appt today...13lbs 8oz, 25 7/8 inches long!

I'll be posting a few pics after I finish this.

As for losing weight, I've just started WW....lost 3.6 lbs this week! I'm 11 lbs away from where I was before I got PG. My over all goal is 35.

Andrea -- Congrats..and sorry for the delay..I know you're over the moon with Henry!

Happy 4th of July!

Hi ladies...I haven't been on in a while. Andrea...your little guy is so cute!
Christbride I'm glad Harmony is doing better!
Joy....I know you must be heartbroken to have your little guy in daycare.

Charlotte is doing great. She is teething as well and is cranky when her gums are bothering her but otherwise she is such a sweet little baby. She laughs so loud now. She is starting to eat baby cereal and 1st foods. I cannot believe she is 5 months old todat! It is going by waaayyyy to fast! I have to take her for her checkup on friday but according to my scale she is almost 13 pounds. She is such a peanut. We were at a party over the weekend and there was a 6 week old baby there and they were the same size. She is starting to get little chubby arms and legs. I'm sure she'll plump up.
Well I hope you are all enjoying your little bundles!!

joy,
that was toooo funny. i hope the little man gets better at letting you get some things done. seems since harmony has been in daycare she has been toooo good. she hardly cries at all. i was telling my dh last night i am going to have to check with the daycare to see what they are doing to her. she is supposed to cry or something. she is just too quiet. put her in the walker and she is in her own world. zooming by.

I am glad you bumped! I think we are all so busy! I had to put Jacob in daycare, it is more like a preschool/daycare thing. It broke my heart to do it but I am not getting any work done. He is cutting teeth too and pulling on his ears sometimes. He is about 13 pounds or so, big boy. I am going to put some new pictures on here soon.

As far as losing the weight... Umm I tried sticking with Weight Watchers but I dont do very good on that for some reason. Now I am restricting carbs (partly because my surgeon recommended doing so before getting this gallbladder out), and it falls off VERY fast. I do a modified version of it because I can't eat so much steak and hamburger, it kills my stomach. I hate doing w/o fruit and carbs like rice and bread (love Italian food!). So, I can stick to the stuff I know wont get me in trouble. I'll keep you posted. The last time I did this I lost close to 35 pounds in about 6 weeks!!! Would be nice if we could just wave a magic wand over our bodies or something. ha ha. Oh and I bought Alli but for the fear of not being able to leave the house I haven't taken any of that yet. I would love to go a few miles a day with the stroller but the baby seems to be allergic to me doing anything for myself, even a shower is hard to come by unless it is super late at night. ; )

And I bought super dieters tea which has that Stevia stuff in it and Senna. So... I am hoping to fit all of my clothes by fall. Not sure about trying for TR baby number 2. I feel like I am getting too old, too tired, etc. LOL I just turned 33 last Monday. I feel like death ran me over though.

So good to catch up, I can't wait to see and hear how everyone else is doing. I should have some updated pics on here this weekend sometime.

thanks andrea. she is doing better since being on the antibiotics. i am starting the gym today. eating habits are horrible. figure once it get back int he gym i will get serious. i am in a weight loss group, but has not motivated me yet. doesn't it seem time is flying. your little one is already 3 weeks. i need to lose about 40-60lbs to get in a good range, not even a normal range. i weigh the same thing i did when i was 9 months pregnant now. i have to to get it back under control.

i hope everyone is doing good. i know you are all busy, but check in from time to time.

Hi Christbride,

I haven't been active here, so I thought I'd find out what's been going on! Seems everyone has been busy with their blessings!

Sorry to hear Harmony was sick. Is she feeling better now? That's hard when they are little. They don't understand what is going on!

Henry is getting big. Last Wednesday-his 3 week birthday, he had a checkup and he was 9 lbs 7 oz, and yesterday on my scale he was over 10 lbs, so he's growing well. I have updated pictures in our family album: theroltgenfamily dot shutterfly dot com His newer pictures are at the end of the album.

He's doing well, nursing great and sleeping between 5-7 hours at night, so I have no complaints! I'm very thankful for this healthy guy!

Christbride, I gained just under 50 lbs with this pregnancy, (I gain big with each one) and I have 17 left to lose to be my goal weight of where I was when I got pg. I am sure I've lost about all I will without trying...now I need to walk and not eat quite so much in the evening..though I'm hungrier than when I was pregnant! What are you doing to lose the weight?

I hope all of you are doing well, and I will try to check in sometime later today to see if any of you new mommies have posted. Take care ladies and love those tiny ones!

Blessings,

Andrea
