I had my OB check it, and he told me they were normal and that they usually go away on their own. He told me not to worry about mine, unless it got much bigger, painful or uncomfortable. Mine only got to the size of a large round grape. I stuck around for a few months, and then just went away on it's own. I hope you feel better. Flutist29 Member # 12785 posted                    Hi all! I haven't checked in recently. We have been very busy with summer! You can remove me from the update list because we won't be TTC this month. I discovered yesterday one of my Bartholin glands was blocked. I had never heard of this until yesterday. So I went to the OB/GYN and he was squeezing and yanking down there. Then I had to have it drained using two needles with little to no numbing. Let me tell you it killed!!!! So I am currently on an antibiotic and ointment to ease the discomfort. I was told there is no way to prevent this and there is no real cause for why it happens.
