Dani_elle..I was with my mom when my Ob office called me to tell me that I would be miscarrying that weekend. My mom didn't even know I was pregnant. And she still doesn't know that I was. Sad, but my oldest sister was more of a mom to me growing up. She knows all about it and came over to encourage me last saturday. I know that it will happen agin for us..and this time we will carry our beanies full term! In Jesus name!

Amy, I was sad too. Hubby and I dealt with the loss very privately. We got a lot of calls, emails and flowers from friends and family. And even though I apreciated all the kinds words and gestures, I had a hard time returning all the calls and emails for several days. My mom happened to be visiting when I lost my beanie, and I couldn't even talk to her about it. I have never been that open about suffering or crying in front of others, maybe it's the soldier in me--I dunno. EVeryone was cool about giving me my space, and eventually I felt up to talking to a few people. We have an outstanding OB, and she was very compassionate about the whole thing. She calls me every few days to see how I am doing, which is admirable for a doctor in a military hospital.

Dani-elle, I feel good. I only "bled" last Saturday (miscarriage day)then spotted very little for 3 more days. I get sad here and there but happy to know I can get pregnant now. We were told we could try right away too. On Thursday 5/28, my hcg was down to 337. On Monday 6/1 it was down to 53. So I should be close to 0 now I would think. I am just waitiing to ovulate...How are you feeling?

We are actually the same age. I just keep forgetting to update that little tid bit. I am 38 just like you. 39 in January. My baby would have been born on my birth month. I am done bleeding now and feel fine. My OB said we can try right away, so we will actively try for a while to see how it all goes. So, perhaps we will get preggo on the same month again and we can go through the journey together. How do you feel?

dani-elle...isn't it funny that we are 1 year apart in age, our TR was 2 days apart, and we both got our BFP the same month! Here's to a BFP for us both this month with a happy and healthy 9 months sis.. Amy H

The pregnancy has been progressing well, although our due date was adjusted slightly by the first ultrasound (now November 6th, 2009). My due date has changed to January 2nd. I went in yesterday for another scan because we are still watching the blood clot very closely.It is almost completely gone. The baby was squirming all over in there:) 9 weeks 4 days today! Hugs to all
