Martha, thanks for your reply! Is it normal for someone to be so emotional after surgery? I have been crying since I came out of surgery.. I am still hurting pretty bad and havent slept very much..I also have some swellin from the waste down.. even my feet! I figured it was from the long ride home.. Amanda

Hi Amanda, I am happy to hear you had a wonderful experience with us. Even though it may take a little longer to get pregnant with shorter tubes, we have women report they are pregnant almost every week with short tubes. One of our forums is a Weekly Pregnancy Report. On it we state the patients age, date of surgery, type of tubal ligation, and the tubal lengths after TR surgery. I think you'll find it encouraging. Take care and best wishes, Martha

Hi my name is Amanda, and I had my TR on June 4th. My tubes are 1.5 to 2cm. I am so upset but atleast my chances are better than none! I would like to talk with some people that are in my same situation.. To let everone know that my experience with CHTRC was wonderful,, all the nurses and Dr. M was so awesome!
