Nancy,
I completely understand!! I am okay - yesterday was a really bad bad day - I couldn't stop crying for any reason... today, I am better - I am actually going to something normal like go grocery shopping and pick up a new book to read.
Please keep in touch with me! My personal e-mail address is Lori-Ann @ yourpva dot com
You have been on my mind daily!
Take care of you.

Lori Ann,
Hope all went well, it was hard for me at times to get on the message board because of the many emotions I have had. All is getting bad to normal. I just stopped bleeding 3 days ago and my D/C was on the 15th of June. That was the hardest thing because it was like a constant reminder of what had happened. Best of Luck to you on your TTC journey. HUGS>>>>Nancy

Hi Fran,
Thanks. I am feeling okay physically. Emotionally, I am better today than I was yesterday...
Jenn, my new OB has already stated that was what he wanted to do. He would like me to have at least one or two cycles after my D&C before we actively TTC. Told him that we would be waiting a bit and would let him know at my follow up if we were going to try again or just wait a while or whatever... my follow up is July 14th at 11am.
Thanks,
~Lori-Ann

Lori-Ann,

I'm sorry for your loss. One suggest that I have is to talk to your doctor about starting progesterone before you get your BFP. I have a history of repeat miscarriage and one of the first things my RE had me do was start the progesterone 2 days after my trigger/LH surge. For some, waiting until you get a BFP can be too late. Just a suggestion. Hope everything goes okay with the D&C.

Hi Ladies,
To continue from here - I went back to the doc on the 29th (Monday) as nothing has happened other than all of my preg signs are totally gone. No cramps, no sign of natural m/c at all so I will have D&C first thing tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital at 6am and procedure is scheduled for 8am...
Nancy - How are you doing? I haven't seen you post since your last post on this thread. Are you doing okay?
Take care ladies! I will be thinking of you all because you all give me a boost!!
Hugs,
~Lori-Ann

Thanks Heather. If/When I find out more, I will let you know.
For now, this is the 4th day of no meds and still nothing is happening... I don't mean to sound ugly but this waiting is what is making me nuts.
Hugs,
~LA

Lori-Ann... I have always m/c naturally as well. It is my understanding that when they do a D&C they basically go in through the vagina, through the cervix and into the uterus. They scrape out the lining of your uterus and everything that is left in there, to make sure that everything comes out. They do it under general anethesia. I am praying that you will m/c naturally and that everything goes smoothly for you. I think that is what they do for the D&C, but if anyone else knows differently I would be interested in knowing as well. Take care.

Nancy,
Thanks! I have been thinking about you all week... How are you feeling?
Nobody has really told me what a D&C entails - do you mind? They just said that I wouldn't be able to drive after... I feel like an idiot that I don't know more... I have always mc'd naturally so...
Take care,
~Lori-Ann

AmberRose,
Yes, my body doesn't naturally produce progesterone so I must take supplements and be monitored at the very least weekly from 6 weeks - 14 weeks for progesterone levels. When I was 5-6 weeks, my level dropped from 20.5 to 11.7 and my OB told me to basically forget it - I had to call another physican to prescribe the progesterone supplement which they did then I changed OB's - my new OB doubled my dosage and added another supplement as well with the comment being that in his opinion with my history and records staring him in his face, his first thought would have been to have me on these dosages from the time I got my BFP... he can't say for sure why this pregnancy didn't progress but he will for sure be planning on my phone call with the next BFP and he already gave me the scripts to have filled when I do get that... So...
As far as this pregnancy is concerned, I felt kind of funny not taking the supplements last night... today I had to stop and think if I felt any twinges or not... the man called me 6 times today as well... I know this process may take a week to 10 days or so... I am trying to stay cheerful and keep a positive outlook and I am thrilled to have the support here from you ladies - it means more than I will ever be able to express.
Hugs,
~Lori-Ann

Lori-Ann, I am so sorry you are going through this! I know this is probably a dumb question but have you had testing to find out why you've had so many losses? I'll be praying for a sticky bean for you. Take care hun.

Thanks for the kind words.
Heather - this will be my 11th miscarriage over a 18 year period... Most have been under 5-6 weeks with the exception of one about 8 years ago at 9 weeks - now this one...
Doc did give me pain meds - he stated that I will most likely have one day of really hard cramps in which I may need it. The man is way more upset about this than I am - he won't leave me alone - if I move, he asks me if I am okay - oh so sweet as he has never been very touchy feely but in the last six hours - I want him to go to sleep or something :-)
Thanks for all the kind words - it really helps to have the support here!!
Hugs to you all!
~Lori-Ann
