Interesting blog...I had amnios with all 3 of my kids (ages 34, 37, and 40) to make sure they were ok and had the easiest delivery of the three at age 40! While there are risks in having babies later...there are many rewards as well. You never know what will happen as there is no absolute in getting pregnant. I had 3 MCs with no know cause or pattern to them and 3 healthy babies. It took me a year to get PG with the 2nd at age 37 and then we got PG by accident and I delivered at 40 so..you just never know in life!

We have a lot of patients undergoing tubal reversal surgery in the age group of 40 and over. This blog series is a great source of information for these women. It is especially encouraging to see women over the age of 45 having health babies after reversal surgery at our facility.

We just published a new blog today. This is part of the much larger series dedicated to women trying to conceive after the age of 40:
Tubal Reversal: Risks of Early Pregnancy In Older Women

This two part segment was created at the request of message board users and discusses the risk of early pregnancy in the older woman and the next article will address late pregnancy risks.

The information in these articles is pertinent to all women trying for pregnancy. Comments left on the blog or message board are appreciated.
