Interesting blog...I had amnios with all 3 of my kids (ages 34, 37, and 40) to make sure they were ok and had the easiest delivery of the three at age 40! While there are risks in having babies later...there are many rewards as well. You never know what will happen as there is no absolute in getting pregnant. I had 3 MCs with no know cause or pattern to them and 3 healthy babies. It took me a year to get PG with the 2nd at age 37 and then we got PG by accident and I delivered at 40 so..you just never know in life!

We have a lot of patients undergoing tubal reversal surgery in the age group of 40 and over. This blog series is a great source of information for these women. It is especially encouraging to see women over the age of 45 having health babies after reversal surgery at our facility.
