Another girl on our thread Shawna has the name Luke Aaron picked for a boy also. How funny that you guys like the exact same name just in a different order.

Well, I have not been to the doctor for my Hcg test yet, but I got a faint BFP this morning. So I guess I will be in here as soon as I confirm that everything is okay. I think I am due the end of March.
I have 3 sons and DH is hoping for a daughter this time. We just want a healthy baby. Our son's names are Stephen Scott, Daniel Joel, and Caleb Michael. If we have another boy he will be Aaron Luke. If it is a girl she will be either Hannah Joy or Aliyah Grace, we have not decided which one yet.
I am still waiting for my DH to come back down from cloud nine. The baby looked wonderful!! He was so freakin cute. I can't wait to hold him. I have to tell you ladies the 3-D u/s was worth every single penny. We would do it again in a second. We spent all day at Bass Pro Shop buying stuff for the nursery.
I know this sounds corny but I feel like my life is fairy tale right now. God is so good!!!

how exciting Cindy to see your baby and find out who is in there!!!!! can't wait to hear your news!!
Jamie- I have to tell you something crazy... we seem to have alot in common.. my 4 year old is Zachary Scot! and Grace has always been a top choice for a girl! lol Very cool that you have a doppler at home!
Shawna- yes, it was rude and just so shocking! lol I mean I don't mind my friends rubbing my belly but strangers, well, um, no! And I think you rock for doing karate class while pregnant! good for you!! and I think I might bring my little digital recorder that I used in my college classes last year to record the heartbeats at my next appt! thanks for the idea!
I am still just so drained. I really was convinced I was anemic! But I guess it is just growing two. Plus, my appetite stinks, so that doesn't help. I am going to go get some protein drinks and bars today. I realized I am not getting nearly the amoutn of calories or nutrients that these little gummy bears and myself need. I found a great book on having twins (or more) at the library. It has great info in it and I have already "rechecked" it out before it is even due! lol Maybe I should just buy my own copy!
Alright, I am off to rest. My 2 year old was up with a high fever 103- last night. Not much sleep as I gave him a cool bath, etc. He is still running the temp today- breaks with tylenol and a cool bath and then comes back. Hoping I don't get it too! We are going to give him today to see if it is just a 24 hr thing and if not it is off to the clinic in the morning.

Just wanted to stop in and say that I got the doppler in the mail today! It took me a few minutes to find it, but I was able to find the heartbeat! It was upper 170's. It really did sink in after hearing it, lol... I pretty sure I'm gonna get the Intelligender test next weekend. Just for fun. I think it'll be cool to see if it works!

Jamie- I am all over that caffeine trick. I used that one 14 years ago with my daughter. It works like a charm....most of the time.
As far as the doppler my DH is totally against it. He swears I will have a hard time finding the heart beat and rush to the hospital just to see my baby is fine. LOL good Lord that man knows me. But good luck to you I hope you enjoy yours.
As far as intelligender test I went to go buy it several weeks ago and the box said if you are taking progesterone it will not be accurate. You have to be off the meds for 10 days. Well tomorrow will be my 10 day mark so it is not worth it for me. My niece took it and it said she was having a girl but then had her u/s and its a boy. But, I think you should go buy it. It will be fun just to try out. I was really disappointed when I could not take it. I would not trust it but think it would be fun.
Shawna- What a fabulous idea about the build a bear.

Jamie, That feeling of disbelief never goes away. With TR Baby #1 I was shocked every single day. I would sit there 8 1/2 months pg rubbing my belly telling DH I just can't believe that I am pregnant. He was like ' it should have sunk in by now' lol!! Today I sit here looking at my sweet little girl and still can't believe that we have a baby after almost 15 years. It's totally insane, but wonderful. Now to think that we are going to have another one it totally blows my mind.
Snow, I totally get what you mean about the fatigue. I remember being extra sleepy with Olivia, but this time around its 10 times worse. Thank goodness I am working from home right now, so I can sleep in and I can take a nap in the afternoon with the baby. I literally fall asleep sitting at my desk if I don't. I was going to skip it yesterday, but starting falling asleep on a conference call. Not good. I just hope it eases up some when I start traveling this fall because when I am onsite naps will not be an option.
Shawna, That is a really cool thing to do with the heartbeat. I have never been to a Build A Bear, but am sooo planning on going as soon as Olivia gets old enough.
Cindy, Can't wait to see if you are playing for team pink or team blue. I think you will be starting the team formation for us 2010 mommies.
UGH, gotta get back to some paperwork. Have a wonderful evening all!

Speaking of heartbeats my dh and my dd both recorded the babies heartbeat with our cell phones and the nurse said that her mom had one of those recorder things that they use at build a bear and recorded her babies heartbeat at he u/s without her knowing it and made her a bear, then gave it to her as a baby shower gift. that is an awesome idea. Shawna - I bid $40 on a doppler on Ebay and figured if I got it, great, if not, no big deal. I ended up winning it for $40! My mom and MIL don't live near us, so they aren't able to come to Dr appointments with me. Plus, my boys would be impossible at an OB office, lol. I figured this way everyone could hear the heartbeat. Plus, even though I am fully overcome with pregnancy symptoms, I have a hard time grasping the idea that I REALLY am pregnant! Crazy, I know. It is just such an awesome miracle to me that I find myself thinking this is all a dream... As for names, my DH has had a boys name picked out for years. He loves Zachary Bo. I don't like Bo, so I talked him into Zachary Scott. His name is Scott, so is his Dad's middle name and his step-dad's middle name. So, that's our boy's name. As for a girls name, we like Ava, Brooklynn, Lila and Sophia. Her middle name will be Grace, because it was by the grace of God that we are pregnant. Unfortunately, my uncle just named my new cousin Sophia, so that's shot. We'll figure it out if we find out it's actually a girl, lol.
Cindy - I hope your baby cooperates for the ultrasound! Shhh... don't tell anyone. We (nurses) would always tell the pregnant women to drink some caffeine before the ultrasound so the baby would move around a lot and show it's "stuff". It would be so frustrating to have a chance to see and the baby be stubborn! Have you tried the Intelligender tests yet? I'm thinking about getting one next weekend. You're supposed to be able to use it at 10wks or after. The web site says it's 90% accurate in lab and 82% accurate in the real world. I wouldn't buy anything based on the results, but I think it would be fun to see if it ends up being right! You can get them at Walgreens and CVS for about $30. Sorry for the advertisement, lol... Best of luck and prayers for Saturday!
