I would be in shock too!!! Lol! I know what you mean about people rubbing your belly when you know it's just bloated and a little chubby! The twins are in the same sac, right? I bet your belly will really start popping out now!

Shawna- true about it being a baby bump.. I am just not ready to have my personal space invaded upon yet by tummy rubbers! lol
Cindy-well if at the 20 week u/s we have one boy and one girl, then they will be fraternal. If they are both the same sex it increases the odds that they are identical. however, the only thing that proves that without a doubt is a DNA test. So we will just wait and see! good luck at your u/s! exciting times!!!

Just wanted to check in and say hello to everyone. It has been a while since I have been on. I am having my u/s in 4 days. DH hubby and I are completely excited!!! This is the longest week of my life......lol
Snowgirl- OMG twins!! I am so excited for you. That is wonderful news. Can they tell at this point if they are identical or fraternal?

snowgirl wow congrats on the twins i quess you have a baby bump already after all.
i consider my bump a baby bump because it's there because i'm pregnant and it wouldn't be there otherwise. i have already grown three more inches and i don't have twins. lucky you. hehe wow that is so amazing you are doubly blessed how exciting.

Lol - that's me exactly! I judge my belly by what it looks like when I get up, not when I go to bed, lol. My mother-in-law rubbed my belly last weekend and I hadn't even popped out at all yet. I just laughed and said "I'm bloated!". I can tell a difference when I try to lean forward while I'm sitting down. Everything is just more smooshed... Best of luck on your US tomorrow!

Jamie- do you find at the end of the day your tummy looks way more pregnant than in the morning? that is what is going on with mine. My friends mom actually rubbed my belly saturday and said something like "oh, look, you are popping out already!" I said "um, yeah it's just first trimester bloating, not really the baby making that happen!" really though, I can't have someone rubbing my belly when the baby is as a big as an apple seed or so! lol I am anxious for the u/s tomorrow. Can't wait to see my little gummy bear! I will post an update when I get back tomorrow afternoon. and yay to you and the Zofran! now you can let some cravings kick in! lol

Thanks snowgirl! I have to take the Zofran at least once daily, sometimes twice. It just depends. But I am thankful that I can keep food down. According to my scale, I have officially gained 1 pound from my pre-pregnancy weight! I am 8wks too! I don't for another appointment until 7/26 and I don't have another US scheduled yet. Probably won't have another until I'm 16wks. I'd say your brown spotting is just like you said, old blood. I had some cramping too on Satuday, but it was from walking so much. I think it was more like abdominal muscle pain. I need to take a picture of my belly and post it, lol. It's ridiculous that I'm already popped out a little!

Hi! Just checking in after 4 days of camping with the family. I am feeling good. I did have some cramping and brown spotting when I wiped (sorry tmi) on Friday. I also had cramping on Saturday but no bleeding. I know brown blood means old blood, so I am hoping that all the walking we did they day before worked some old stuff out. I will know for sure on Tuesday when I get the u/s to check on baby. I am 8 weeks today! I am just praying all is ok with baby. and I just remind myself that all will be ok, no matter what, it will be ok. Hope everyone had a great 4th! and Jamie, I am happy to hear you are getting some relief!

Welcome Kimberly! Congrats on your BFP! That makes you 12-13 wks, right? I hate that your m/s is still hanging on. Usually it's gone by now! Hopefully, you start to feel better soon. As for the Reglan being "black boxed", I just looked in my drug book and it's listed as a pregnancy catagory B - meaning it's relatively safe. Actually, Phenergan is a class C and OB's seem to use it all the time. Go figure. Anyway... welcome to our group and congrats on your pregnancy!

Hi there. could you please add me to your list. My stats: Me: 33, DH: 44, DS: 15, DD: 14, DD: 7, SS: 14, SS: 13 Tubal Dec. 2001; TR: 3/2/09, BFP: 4/28/09, EDC: 1/5/10. The ms has been horrendous. The doctor has tried everything and finally phenergan suppositories, reglan, and zofran combination have worked. I saw some post here that talked about reglan being black boxed, but my OB still uses it. It helps with gastric emptying. I have dropped much weight and MD said if this regimen did not work he was putting me in hospital. ARGH...however, it has worked...probably the thought of hospitalization scared the sickness right out of me. LOL No really, I haven't actually vomited since last Thursday night when I started it and it's been great. Holding down food has my energy levels coming straight back up. Thank goodness, my 7 year old was beginning to feel neglected by me. I took a month off work because I couldn't even function.

I would think that 5wks would be a little early to be concerned about not seeing the heartbeat. I went at 4wks 5days and only saw a gestational sac, then went at 6wks 5days and saw the baby and heartbeat. I bet you'll get to see it next week.
