Hi ladies, sorry to say I haven't taken the time to read all the old posts I have missed.
For all those with m/s I am there too!!! I have hyperemesis really bad with all my pregnancies and nothing works or helps. It gets old when you are nauseous and throwing up 5-6+ times a day. In the 1st trimester it is nothing for me to drop 15+lbs. I have been hospitalized before and IV fluids and meds..you name it. This pregnancy is going a bit better. I have found as praybelieving stated that eating a high protein diet has helped a TON this time around. I found something called the 'Brewer's Diet' it is for pregnancy and if you look it up you will find guides to what you are to eat and all that. He wants you to eat 6 small meals and all that. It does get hard when you have no appetite at all, BUT when I do it like I am supposed to it helps a ton. I suggest it.
AFM: Today is DH and I's 14 yr wedding anniversary so we are hanging out at home and playing games with the kids. 14 yrs and soon to be 6 beautiful children together..can't ask for more!!!
Hope you have a GREAT day and I will check in as I can..DH still has 2 more weeks of leave left!! YAY!!! I hate when he has to go to work!!

Jamie, sorry to hear that you are so sick! YUK! No, we did not see a heartbeat at the u/s. I called the ob, my ob is out, so the nurse was going to talk with the oncall dr. and call me back.. that was a couple of hours ago. Hoping they will just do an u/s for me and put my mind at ease.

Snowgirl - I'd say it's just your body getting used to the high hormone level. Some women just have better pregnancies than others... As long as you aren't cramping or spotting, I'd think everything is fine. Did you see the heartbeat on the US? Once you see the heartbeat, the risk of miscarriage drops to 5%. Take advantage of feeling good! I wish I were so lucky, lol. I spent half my night in the bathroom. I feel awful!

ok, I am trying not to stress myself out/freak out. I am around 7/8 weeks pregnant. I had been having some "morning sickness" that started around 6 weeks. nothing too awful.. just sensitive tummy in the afternoon/evening, some gagging if I smelled something that seemed gross, etc. Well yesterday it seemed way better. I actually was able to eat something at dinner time..granted it was cereal, but that is an improvement from chicken broth. My breasts had also been pretty sensitive and this morning.. not so much. I have zero cramping or any discharge going on. I know you are all going to tell me to call me ob, lol, which I will. But I just need some reassurance that maybe my hormones are just fluctuating. I have never been one to have much morning sickness, etc. This has actually been the most intense I have had (I have three kiddos already) I am just a little worried that it seems better.
Jamie- thanks for fixing my info. Pretty neat having a Feb 14 due date.. although I have never gone a full 40 weeks, so I am not planning on it now.. thinking maybe closer to Feb. 1. lol

FINALLY going today at 2:00 for my u/s. I am so nervous. I haven't slept well the last two nights because of nerves, so I am hoping that finally getting to see something will help put my mind at ease. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

I hope I didn't step on anyone's toes by copying the list again. I just wanted to add my US.
Thanks for all the suggestions on the m/s. I am praying that it will subside soon. The lemon ice stays down, but there's not much nutritional value there, lol. If it hasn't at least decreased by Friday, then I will call my OB and get the Zofran. Zofran is a class B drug, so it's safe to take during pregnancy. I'll head to the drug store tonight and see about the sea arm bands. My belly seems to be poofing out a little more even though I know it's not weight, lol. From hip bone to hip bone it's rounded. I guess I'm gonna pop out early since this is my 3rd pregnancy. It's not obvious unless I have my clothes off, so only my DH and my kids have noticed. Hope everyone is having wonderful pregnancies so far!

I just popped in to check on your girls...glad every one is doing well...I'm sorry thought for the loss honinurse. Blessings to you and your family.
Jamie, I had horrible "hyperemesis" with my pg's...the first was a twin pg and I was hospitalized after dropping a lot of weight and not peeing in 18 hours and low BP. They loaded me up with fluids and phenergan the entire 3 days. They then put me on reglan/phenergan (zofran wasn't being used yet like now)...It did help a lot, but I was horrified when I saw reglan was black boxed! I have such slow motility anyway, and the progesterone (I guess) made it so worse. I still threw up daily...after meals, but at least it wasnt' 15 times like before. I gained 20 lbs with my twins and lost 40 by the time I came home from the hospital. crazy!
With my dd, I wasn't as sick, but still some and I took zofran...I think that's why I stopped being so sick with her. It's a good med...and seemingly safe...but then again, so was reglan back then (8 yrs ago). So, I hope the b6 works...if not, I'm sure the zofran will. I've heard people talk about the sea bands too...they didn't do anything for me. And my doc always preached the eating protein thing...b/c m/s is usually from blood sugar swings. When pg, most of us migrate towards comfort, starchy foods, but then our blood sugar crashes afterwards...so eating protein (as if you want chicken when sick) is supposed to help too.
God bless you girls and those little beans!! Hope you are doing better Shawna (with the headaches).
