If she won't listen to you about the protocol, call and tell her you are having pain when your numbers get high enough. Then she'll have to do one to cover her butt. It doesn't cost her anything to order it for you, so I don't understand the reasoning for being difficult. Just keep dropping the "high risk for ectopic" in your conversation with her. I made sure to meet before we got preggo to go over everything with her. There are absolutely no other obs around here. I sat down with her last month and went over it with her and told her how important it was. I just can't believe this crap. sugagrl143 Member # 13419 posted                    gotthebabybug....I would print off the early pregnancy protocol and give it to your do so they know what they HAVE to do for your safety. I would INSIST it be followed. Best of luck and best wishes to you sweety! gotthebabybug Member # 12913 posted                    Ok I had my first betas yesterday they were 48 at 12 DPO. The nurse was supposed to call me back with the results yesterday but never did. I called the lab to get the results myself. I called back this morning and the nurse said she will call me back today with the results, which I already knew. I just wanted to make sure there was a request for my second beta. Anyway the doctor called my and said she was very concerned about my beta because it was way to low and wants me to repeat it tomorrow. I already had planned on doing this. I explained that I was only 12 DPO and she said well did you get a + on a HPT, yes of course. She said if my numbers go up and everything works out for me that she would do an u/s in 6 weeks. I explained to her last month when I met her that I had a tubal reversal and when my betas hit 1500 I need an u/s to make sure baby is not in my tubes. I am just sick to my stomach right now and my hands won't stop shaking. asking god to play it again Member # 13041 posted                    girls today I am 10 dpo and it is taken everything I got not to test...I told myself this month I would just wait....Ughhhhh
