Yes, she was pretty scared, but I am the one terrified. She is in Texas right now with my dad for the summer, so its not like I can sit her down and have the talk, and I just never thought to do it before now....thought I had a couple of years at least.
I did not start until a month before my 15th birthday...I tried talking to her on the phone but she really doesn't want to discuss it, I guess she is a little embarassed. She will be going to 4th grade this year and to already have to deal with this is just crazy to me.
At least it was my stepmother that found her crying in the bathroom and not my dad....he is about as sensitive as a rock...lol.
Well I hope you all have a great 4th, if it doesn't rain here we are going to a BBQ.

Good afternoon ladies. CD 2 for me today when the list is updated. Ankle reconstruction surgery went well on Tuesday, just bummed out to be laid up with cast and crutches the rest of the summer.

Wow Amber, that is so young. How old were you when you started? I was almost 14. They say girls are starting along younger these days due to all the hormones in our food. I wonder if its true. I could also have something to do with why infertility has skyrocketed.
I'm not a freak about everything I eat or my health (obviously why I am overweight! LOL) but I have switched to as much organic as I can afford especially hormone free meat and dairy. Not to mention all the antibiotics in everything.
Hope everyone is doing well. I have been okay, but still not ovulating.
Miranda, I don't mind doing the list, just wished I could remember earlier sometimes to take the burden off of you and caroljean...lol.
Mersa, I hope you just have a couple of cysts due to the shot that is keeping AF away and not PCOS. I have PCOS, and let me tell you it is nothing fun. I have been seeing my RE for 7 or 8 months now and have yet to even ovulate let alone get pregnant.
BTW ladies, my 8 year old started her menstral cycle this week...I am completly terrified. Last week I was the mother of an 8 year old girl, now I am the mother of a young woman. OMG, this really has me freaked out.

Mersa, if anything, your progesterone is high, which is why your luteal phase is so long. If I had to guess, and I'm not a doctor, for you to be getting all of those positive OPKs your LH is high. Your LH is only high if you are having your surge just prior to ovulation, or in the presence of multiple cysts. Or at least a couple large ones. Cysts, or PCOS (chronic multiple cysts) will postpone or prevent AF. Once AF arrives, you can have bloodwork on CD 3 for FSH and LH and estradiol. The FSH will determine your ovarian reserve, LH should be lower than FSH on CD 3 - if it is higher, like it is now, it shows you have a higher chance of having PCOS. Estradiol level can determine how close you may be to menopause. If your LH is high, there are medications that can increase your chances of pregnancy even with PCOS. You may even want to have laproscopic surgery to see the condition of your ovaries, check for endometriosis, and get rid of any scar tissue you may have. Even if you choose to go IVF, you will still need to know this information because it can affect how you respond to the IVF meds and if you are able to produce good quality eggs. I really hope your RE works with you and gets the necessary bloodwork and schedules a lap for you, if it will benefit you. Please keep us posted. Good luck!

Carol, I wish!!! LOL but no. was negative the HCG quantitative today, I will go to the Office on Monday, I am giving up on the natural ways of conceive, I wanted to go by IVF but he dont want to, yet, He think I can make it my own. Carol, why you think I am having positive OPKs? It will be five weeks with positive OPK did you think might be Pecos. When I read the messages of all of you, I see that some of yours RE and DRs. Has made some progesterone lab or estrogen, or any other lab and my RE, havent do nothing of those at all, I might be low in progesterone and he dont know. I am so confuse about this because I am a regular 35 CD.
