Dawn I to have dropped some my doctors appointment is tomorrow so I am sure I will find out more info. I have been out of work and its weird for me I think I do more being out of work then I did working. I am for sure not used to being home but it is nice I have been able to get so much done and we to are all set for this little guy.
Hope all new babies and mommies are doing well and sleeping...LOL when you can I know
And for those approaching that day best of luck Me even though this is my 4th child I am getting nervous......

Hello ladies, Glad to hear the updates from all of you new moms. And so happy to hear everything is going well for all of you too. I had dr. appt today and lost 1/2 lb.. YEAH.. I was worried with all of the picnics and carnival food I've been eating I was sure I gained 10+ lbs.. LOL They hooked me up to monitors again today and they actually had to "buzz" my little guy to get him to move and get his heart rate going up. He must have just been sleeping because he was bouncing around about 20 minutes before appt. LOL Anyway all is well and on the list to deliver on the 24th. Had the Strep B test done today and will get results next Monday when I go back (going every week now) So that's about it for me. We are 100% ready for our little guy now. Finished up some shopping today. He is starting to drop a bit, so it is getting easier to breath.. Yeah for that too! And I'm really feeling the need to "nest" DH is getting out the rug scrubber for me this week.. LOL Have a great night everyone! Dawn H.

Heather, if I remember correctly, I believe once you go from -2, -1, 0 and then 1, 2 . Zero being baby is engaged in your pelvis and 1 and 2 baby is on it's way out. good luck to you!

Hey Ladies!! Haven't been on in a while. I went to the Dr and he said I was effaced 60% and -2 station but no dilation. I go again tommorrow. Does anyone know what -2 station means? I think it is the position of the baby. Does it have to reach 0 before I will go into labor? I have two other children but don't remember what that meant it has been 8 years ago and I have a pregnancy brain right now also. LOL!!

Things are going really good for us... He has eaten 3 large cans of formula for us too... his appetite really has gotten bigger the last few days, I was worried for a aminute, but he weighs 10lbs. 6oz. already as of yesterday. So I guess he was eating fine.
We also had our momenst with being up all night, but I expected that and it has gotten better the last few nights, so I am expecting it to keep getting better all the time.

hey danelle it is hard to get back in the swing of things when you no longer a youngn' raising babies. it took alot to get back in the swing of things for me with my tr baby #1. with MJ it has been hard but we are copeing. or i should say i am dh works 2nd shift so he is not much help. he does do the first feeding and a before bed time feeding but refuses' to change him he says he is to small.he will get up with the 2 yr old in the morning but not before 9 am he says so if she gets up before then i have to get up with her. lol but all is good. I am going back to work as soon as the Dr releases me i have been at home for over 2 years now and i feel it is time to return to the active work force. i wish we could get a weekly paycheck for being at home mommy's cause that is one job that is so much harder then any 9 to 5. MJ has already gone through 4 large cans of formula in less than 3weeks. i bf for 2 weeks an he will be 5 weeks this thursday. Dr said if he count. to eat this much then we will be looking into baby food soon. which is scarry sience he is allergic to baby oil i am afraid what else he will be allergic too. Amy how are things going for you? mommyof3 how are the twins doing? dawn how are thigns on your end still crazy or are you ettling into a routine? all others i hope you all are well with the baby's as well as your familys update us when you can....

I'm tired Forgot how tiring a newborn is..but she is worth every minute of lost sleep...I am SO in love with her and she has been SUCH a good baby so far!

Sorry I havent been on or checked in been busy the doctor took me out of work on 7/10/2009 and my company was bought out in September so everything has changed with leaves and such as of 7/1 so I have been trying to get everything in order and taking it easy. She has me on bed rest due to the swelling and the BH I have been having.
The babies are all adorable I will catch you all up when I can oh and Dawn my shower went well I got a whole lot of stuff
