I'm praying for you... Let go and let God. I kow that is hard to do, and i have never been in your shoes, but I have read on here about other women who stuck it out against their Dr. advice, and have or will be having their baby. If it were me, I would wait it out, and if your Dr. doesn't want to then I would find a new OB. Your Dr. should listen to your wishes as long as you are not hurting yourself. I hear that a ectopic is not harmful till you are appox. 6 weeks along

weren't those drawn at 9dpo???? I think that's where we get in unnecessary worry b/c these docs aren't used to seeing a pg women until AFTER she's missed her period! Please, DON'T stress and keep hoping on God...your pg could be just fine...it's too early to tell...your bw tomoorrow will tell alot more.

Your progesterone is low, but not that low! It seems supplements would help. The doc is right in that if this is going to m/c, then it is. But those numbers are just not that low. I have not heard of testing estrogen during pregnancy? I hope you can find another doc who will write you an Rx for prometrium to at least give it a try. Is your next hcg draw tomorrow? I hope you have fast rising numbers!

what do they do about estrogen? I know they can give me something for progesterone. I am calling more doctors today to see if i can get a second opinion..

I know it is hard, but don't freak out yet. My first hcg draw at 11DPO (same as you) was only 9 and my progesterone was 13.7. My doc put me on progesterone supplements that very day. But the normal level for progesterone is 15 at 14DPO and neither of us had made it that far at that draw. I will never know if my number would have gone up on it's own. I went ahead and took Dr. B's protocol of 400mg of Prometrium and had a repeat draw 3 days later and my progesterone had jumped to 98!! I lowered it to 200mg and took it most of the rest of my first trimester just to be on the safe side. Do you know what your progesterone level is?
My little slow starter has turned out to be a very healthy pregnancy. I am now 31w3d with a boy and he is measuring 3-4 weeks ahead. He made up for that slow start.
Hang in there - take your prenatals, try not to stress and pray for the best. Time will tell for sure if this is meant to be. We are here for you, too, any time you need us.

I'd ask for the progesterone ASAP and not make any decision until your third blooddraw. It sounds like he's throwing the towel in way too early IMHO.
I've seen numbers much lower than yours and women go on to have healthy babies. One lady in particular Heidi had a level of 7 and she went on to have her RJ 8 months later.
Don't do anything yet but get on the progesterone and wait out the next to labs.

My first numbers were low, they all are at first!! I'd wait, if your 2nd or 3rd doesn't double, THEN you need to do something for sure, but 24 being your 1st number??? I would not worry just yet.
