Some of us will use everything under the sun and still not see a BFP unfortunately.
Try not to stress out. Most importantly, I think, is to be wise in your choices. Sometimes it seems like some of the oddest things will be passed around as sure fire ways to get pregnant. Be careful that what you do won't hinder instead of help. And, like Tanya said, if it takes a longer period of time, seek an RE's help.

Instead cups are cups that were originally promoted to be used for your AF. Now they are marketing them to help with fertility. After you BD you insert it like a diaphragm. It keeps all the swimmers close to the cervix. I got mine at early-pregnancy-tests.com I have not gotten my BFP yet. I still use them every now and then. You just never know. HTH

This was the first month my husband and I tried. As 4ever I also used soy and OPKs.
My DH and I have a very happy and youthful bedroom life. So we BD just about everyday sometimes more. I didn't put my legs up or anything. My OB said take advantage and after BD'ing just lay there and relax or cuddle. He said the more relaxed you are the better chance you have. And who is not relaxed in their mans arms? You also get some cuddle time which maybe a rarity in some houses

I have no idea if this will help but its worth a try. Sounds gross but my mom and I have a really close relationship. She told me that she had to use a pillow under her thighs to get pregnant with my brother and I. She said she tried everything and that is the only thing that helped her. She also said that after you make love you should elevate your legs for about 5 minutes or so. It helps the sperm get where its soppose to go faster. I'm not a nurse or Dr. but that is what my mom said. Everyone is different just thought I would give some advice to hopefully help. Don't tell my mom I told you, lol.

lounangie - Tanya is right on the money, what works for some may not work for everyone but you can try different things. I've used OPKs, I've temped, I've had an HSG to make sure my tubes were open. To help with my lack of CM I've tried Preseed, Preconceive Plus, EPO, Mucinex, drinking grapefruit juice & decaf green tea. After BD, I've tried legs elevated, lying on my stomach, lying flat. You get the picture - I'll try almost anything.
My year anniversary for TR is a week from today and so far not a single BFP. For the rest of this year DH & I've decided not to do anything except BD a lot around the right time and if we've still had no luck by the new year, we'll move on to IVF.

After three years of being here - I'd say it's really subjective. You can try something new and get a BFP, or you can ttc for a year plus doing everything humanly possible and the one month you don't do anything you'll get pg. I'd say a comprehensive exam with your OB to make sure your ovulating, charting to check your lutuel phase is adequate and looking for things like good cm and most importantly timing intercourse with the help of temping or OPK's at the fertile window are the imparative. Having an OB that is on-board with your surgury, needs and is willing to go the miles to help you conceive. Finally, seeking a supportive and helpful RE if ttc takes longer or more time than expected is crucial.
You can use all the kits, monitors, gels, vitamins in the world, but so much of it is just nature taking it's own course. It's wise to intervene after ttc with no luck, but there are factors like age, egg quality and tube conditions that are out of your control. There isn't always a good explaination of why it's not happening for one lady or happens after a month for another.
Finally, this board will help in ways that you can't believe. I dare say there isn't a woman here that hasn't tried everything you can imagine and then some. I've gotten some of the most positive feedback for ladies here that understand my feelings and thoughts about ttc after a TR.
Best of luck on your journey and here is hoping for a quick easy BFP for you!

You could have the following testing performed through your local doctor:
Progesterone Assay A progesterone blood test can be taken 1 week after the LH surge to assess the function of the ovary (the corpus luteum) in producing the hormone that makes the uterine lining receptive for implantation of a fertilized egg. Taking this test based on timing from the LH surge is the best way to test for progesterone when it is at its highest level. If the progesterone assay is performed at a time in your cycle other than a week after the LH surge (or 1 week prior to menstruation – ie the mid-luteal phase), it may be misinterpreted as being abnormally low when it may actually be a normal value.
