I had my Amnio today to check for lung maturity, and the results came back out of the 3 #s they look at, 2 were not quite there, and the 3rd(most important one) was borderline. I go back Friday for another NST, and then am supposed to be scheduled for induction on Monday or Tuesday!

I go back this Thursday lol.. I had a horrible contraction last night. It was the 1st one I ever had that actually made me cry! only one and it lasted about 45-60 seconds though. after that it was reg tightening ones that only cramped some. I keep having these menstrual type cramps and sharp sharp pains down below like kinda shooting up from my private area to my ovary area. Those hurt...
My dr said unless i was contracting ect he would not check me again until I am 39 weeks. I say whatever to that Lol. You let me find a way to help me dilate and im doing it! lol (well minus caster oil and other things like that lol) guess im stuck with walking huh!
I am soooo excited though. Im almost 37 weeks.....

Cheri and JoAnn I totally agree!!! Although this pregnancy is such a great blessing from above and I am so grateful for it, I seriously can't wait for it to be over. I am a miserable mess. I can hardly walk, turn over in bed...forget it lol. Walk without pressure down there ....it's not gonna happen. I have made it this far and I know a few more weeks will do lil EJ some good but I will be so thankful when I am holding him and not carrying him!
JoAnn, so glad to get an update on the lil one. I know you surely are enjoying the times! Two of my girlfriends just delivered this past week and its making me more and more impatient!
Cheri have you had any more contractions? When do you go back to the doc? I go on Friday and I am so so so hoping she says I've started to dilate and sends me to the hospital...wishful thinking doesn't hurt huh?
Hope all of our other ladies are doing well and enjoying their pregnancies and babies. Hope to hear from everyone soon.

Suga - I read about that rash on one of my pregnancy emails. I also saw an episode about a girl that had it on Deliver Me Home Edition. (Love that show!) I hope yours does not get as bad as hers - she was covered in it. I hope you can get some relief.
Blessed - I was totally where you are at before I delivered. Knowing I was carrying a miracle baby and so ready to meet him, but also exhausted and miserable physically. That is why threads like ours are so wonderful. The girls who are desperately TTC would get upset with our gripes and complaints. But the reality is that pregnancy is a loooong marathon. And when you are in your 40's it is even harder!! LOL!
I am just now getting a more normal energy level and Bryce is 5 weeks old today. He is finally starting to sleep a little longer at night. Last night he slept from 11:45PM - 5:30AM and I am thrilled! He is getting chubby cheeks and thighs - so cute. He is starting to smile back at me more often, too.
I have 2 more weeks of maternity leave before I go back to work. :-( I am also having my one little tube tied again on the 28th. I will be 42 tomorrow and it is time to close the baby shop for good. It is going to be weird to know I cannot get pregnant again. My TR was in 2002 and I have been back in TTC or baby mode for so long.
But I will switch my focus. My sister in law is TTC, so I can channel all my baby energy into her!
Hang in there my pregnancy friends!! Before you know it you will be holding your bundles.
I think Brandy posted that her c-section will be this Friday the 23rd.

I think I am hanging in there. I have had some discharge that was mucus, and then I had that other prob we talked about that was just my husbands stuff lol. I dont think I have lost my muscus plug yet. Im not on top of anything with this pregnancy. Before I say what Im about to say, please let it be known I know we are very blessed to be having another baby and I am on top of the world and cant wait. HOwever, omgosh Im so done with being pregnant! I can not take it anymore lol. I hurt all the time and its hard to bend or walk or sleep. The B&H contractions are horrible at times and I know I have more time to go since im only coming up on 37 weeks but wow im tired.... Lol. Maybe most is excitement to meet lil one??? as of last week I was not even dilated lol. trust me if I didnt already know that nothing makes you go into labor until your ready i would be trying everything there is! lol
I hope everyone else is doing better than me lol.. wishing everyone the best!

As for me, I had a small bit of blood when I wiped earlier so I'm wondering was that my mucous plug or part of it? You'd think since this is baby 6 I'd be on top of my game but I sincerely am feeling like I am less knowledgeable than with my first...lol I'll blame it on the age. Oh and that nasty rash....turns out its a rare third tirimester rash called the PUPPP!
I hope all is doing great. Im not feeling so well but thought i would get online and just post an update. I will come back later on and read every ones post and then reply..
I had my 36 weeks checkup yesterday. Ugh..... They did the swab test thing Lol... it was ok but it did kinda hurt a lil (for a second) he checked me and I have not started to dilate at all. Now please don't get me wrong I am so blessed to be pregnant, I know this.. But man am I ready to not be pregnant anymore I do want to hold him but I am also tired of feeling so yucky and big and hurting when i move, walk or sleep lol. I have got so many tips on how to just jump start labor, but im too lazy to do anything plus i don't want to make him come b4 he is ready. I am not taking the contractions pills anymore. I stopped those about a week and a half ago maybe 2 weeks ago. that's about it i think?

Just wanted to jump on to update myself before I lay back down. I've been having lots of pressure today but not more than usual contracting. I was reading up on rashes and such since I'm severely itchy also and I came up with this pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy . I did some research and it certainly appears to be my case. I am going to try to treat it and talk to doc at visit next week...unless all this pressure lands me a trip to L&D. WOW I've made it to 34 weeks! Now the excitement is sure rising. 42 days to go!!!
