I just knew you would be the one (or at least the first) to tell us you got your BFP...Anne is right about taking it for granted how it easy it USED to be to get pregnant. I am doing my homework and hopefully Nov is our month. I will be ovulating 2nd week of Nov - the old hag is easing out the door right now...I need to slam that dang door shut - PERMANENTLY!! We are all in this mad dash to get to a BFP over a decision we made a long time ago. My fall back is always that each thing thathappens, does so for a reason and when the timing is right, things will fall into place - no matter if that's the desired outcome or not. Patience is not a virtue that I hold on to quite well, but I am learning, especially with this venture. sending baby dust to everyone this cycle!! pola-americanbean Member # 13925 posted                    Sorry Gretel about the old hag paying you a visit! I feel so retarded! lol I heard this from my husband before and just couldn't believe it. I am trying so hard to get pregnant. I almost feel like I am annoying the hubby, actually I know I am! lol I just never had to try and get pregnant so alot of this is very new to me! Miranda Gretel Member # 14093 posted                    Well, I used an ovulation kit that tells me when are the two most fertile days. The first day you get a positive ovulation test is the day before ovulation and the second day is the day of ovulation. You have to wait till after u ovulate so you have more chances to have a boy. The boy sperms are faster but die quicker, so you cant have sex until you already ovulated. If it gets there and you havent ovulate it will die and then the girls sperms will do the job becuase they come later and last longer. Just remember your egg lasts up to 24 hrs, so after the day of ovulation you have at least 12 hrs to play it safe and start doing homework Kiss and hugs!!!! babyhopefulx2 Member # 13903 posted                    Gretel, I can't believe you are actually having the patience to wait those last three days. You (along with the rest of our TR sisters) are in my constant thoughts and prayers. Can't for my visitor to leave. Anxious toget started again. DB says that Nov will be our month. Of course, Gretel, he keeps referring to the method you mentioned to conceive your son. When you get a chance, tell me about it again...the man is about to drive me bananas!! I just got off my "old hag" and am approaching my "date". So I hope my hubby is up to the challenge! I am super excited. I still cant believe I can have children again! I have dreamt for so long to have his children, I can't wait, neither can our three kids and him! We have two girls and one boy, hoping for another boy! Good luck everyone and keep in touch! I am on cycle date 11 so I guess its time to put hubby to the test. lol I still find it so hard to believe that there is a possibility that I can even get pregnant again. Its really wierd. I love to hear everyone is doing good. I am so excited I cant wait to give you all a good hews or to hear one from you. I count not only the days but the minutes.. I have two kids already a boy and a girl so whatever comes as long as is healthy it all be fine. Sending a lot of baby dust to all of you and to me too why not right? lolsz babyhopefulx2 Member # 13903 posted                    Hi Girls...well, sadly, I think the old hag decided to show her ugly face this morning, laughing at me, saying "Who do you think you are to get rid of me on your first cycle TTC?"...so far, it's only pinkish in color, and only when I wipe. Depressing! I feel somewhat out of place to feel saddened when this is my first cycle when plenty of women on here have been trying for quite a while. I just don't want it to seem as though I am discounting their plight either...all of the excitement seems to take over I suppose. babyhopefulx2 Member # 13903 posted                    Hey Pola...I have two. DS will be 13 in Nov and DD will be 12 in Dec. So, I have one of each already. I want a healthy baby, but of course DB and DS are praying that when I do become pregnant, that it's a boy. DD wants a baby sister. Guess we'll see how that plays out. I didn't realize you had four boys already...that's a lot of testosterone going on. Yeah, you definitely need a baby girl. It always seems to be that when you want something so bad, you don't get it. AF is not due until around the 28th, so we shall see. I am going to test in the morning. Will keep you posted!!!
