Hi ladies, just a quick update. I will be 37 weeks on Thursday. At our visit for a false alarm on Sunday morning we discovered that we were 2 cm and 30% effaced and baby is in the birth canal, so finally I can say it won't be long!!! Congrats to all the BFP's and welcome to all the new faces! I hope everyone is doing well and I will keep you updated.

gagirl - If your temp goes up, it means you ovulated the day before. (if you temp on the morning of cd 15 and your temp has risen more than .3 degrees and stays up for 3 consecutive days, that mean you ovulated on cd 14) I used a basal body thermometer from Walgreens .. its pink and cost $10. It measures your temp to the hundredth, instead of the tenth, like a normal thermometer.
I temped one month to see when I O'ed, and the next month we caught the egg. I have since m/c, but will begin temping again soon. I do not use opk's .. I got tired of my eyes playing tricks on me when it came to figuring out if the test line was darker than the control line.

A&Kplus7: thank you so much for helping me. I will try these things for sure this month. Do you just use a regular themometer and check it every morning and on the morning your temp goes up that means your ovulating?

Gagirl, I always O anywhere from CD15-CD18, but if I didn't OPK or temp each month I would not know which day and I could possibly miss the window of opportunity. I would at least OPK this month, just to see if you are O'ing again and when you think you are. I would start using the OPK's on CD12 for you and continue each day until you get a +OPK. As for charting your temp, the best way to do it is start setting your alarm clock for the same time everyday and as soon as it goes off, reach over and grab a thermometer & take your temp. It may be helpful to keep a pen & paper near the bed as well. I know that you had good luck with getting pregnant so far & maybe you don't need to try these things, but it won't hurt either. Good luck.
Ryli, I hope you get an answer soon. I know how frustrating it is to be late & keep getting a - test. You can't help but hold out hope that it happened and the test is wrong. I was 8 days late once since TR and it was the worst experience ever. I really hope you don't need meds to get your cycle started either.

Hey Kristie, thanks for the welcome back! ...I was trying to stay away and see how i would do when i wasn't totally obsessed with the boards and just tried to relax on the ttc idea... but it didn't make much of a diff.....no bfp and the one year anniversary is coming up soon in Jan! I think I am going to just check for O until the end of the year and come Jan 2010, I will follow what you will be doing, just sitting back and what will be will be...
I didn't know you had taken the clomid for that long....I've read that it doesn't always help in women that are already ovulating so maybe that's what happened with us...?
I'm trying to decide if i should go and get bw or wait a bit longer. It's funny, it's either really good that I'm late (bfp) or really bad, and Clomid has messed with my period....It's weird to feel so positive, and possibly so negative at the same time! I'm just hoping if not a bfp that af starts without me having to go to the dr to get it started with meds!
gagirl...sorry I don't know anything about temping...I've never done it before....I'm sure one of the ladies on here will have some good info. for you though.
Hope everyone has a great day and wishing lots of babydust for us all!!!!!!

I do not temp or use opk it just came so naturally with the last 2 preganancies I had but ended up losing. The first month I did use an OPK and it showed i ovulate on CD 15 so I have just been going off of that each month but now with my cycle I may have to start using them again. How do you take your temp and what day do you start taking it on? Sorry I dont know alot about that.

Dmoore, I am happy that things are going well with your pregnancy. I looked at your ultrasound picture and your little bean is adorable. Please continue to keep us updated with your progress.
Newchptr, I am so happy that your AF arrived for you. This is a very exciting step in your journey of TTC. The first month is always the most exciting and I hope you get your BFP right away, so that you don't have to stay on this roller coaster ride for long. Good luck this month.
Ryli, Thank you for the compliment and I am thrilled to see you posting again. How have you been? I have taken clomid for 3 months now and the 1st month I was 1 day early & the 2nd I was 1 day late. I had my lining looked at this month and it was fine, so it has not really affected me much. Actually I don't think it has helped me O on my good side. I know that my Dr. advised me that it can make you O later than normal and extend your LP & make you late without being pregnant. I am sorry that it seems it did not work for you. I hope either your AF or a BFP shows for you soon.
Gagirl, I am glad you got your appt rescheduled. Do you temp or use OPK's? I am curious as to what your temps were doing while you were spotting/bleeding last week. How are they now? I really hope that when you go to your appt next month you are already 4 weeks pregnant! Good luck this month with your cycle regulating.
As for me, I am on CD17 and got a +OPK yesterday and tons of cramping last night. Although I am a little discouraged because the bulk of my cramps were on the right side and that side is blocked for me. I am thinking that I will O today and that my LP will be short or extended my AF due date because of the clomid. I am going to take a couple of months off from clomid, temping & OPKing after this cycle and then if still no BFP by my 1 year anniversary in January, my RE said he would start me on stronger meds & do IUI for 2-3 months. I really hope that works, but by this point I have kind of accepted that it is not happening anytime soon for me.

Hi all....I haven't posted on this thread in a long time but i have been reading some of the posts from time to time.... I hope everyone is doing good and feeling positive!
Kristie...glad to see you have been maintaining the thread for all of us!....very nice of you! And, you always have good things to say and are so upbeat! I have a question for you and any of the other ladies on our thread who have used Clomid, did you find out if the Clomid affected the thickness of your lining? I am wondering whether or not i should do a second month of it or not...
I'm not being monitored by a Dr. because i only planned to use it for 2 mths. Right now I am 3 days late for AF with no symptoms of pg or AF so i think the Clomid has affected my LP..

Hi Ladies I just wanted to stop in and say hi, I have not been feeling all that great just really tired and sick to my stomach but today I actually was able to get some stuff done. I posted a second picture of the ultrasound that was done on 10/28 we saw the baby heartbeat and I go back on the 20th of November where we should be able to hear the heart beat on the Doppler. I will be about 11 weeks by then. I have you all in pray and wishing you all baby dust....

A&Kplus7...I am on CD31 today. I just had my TR on 10/27/09 so I am certain no BFP this month! I am anxiously awaiting AF so we can get started on TTC. I think I might be anticipating it to much already. My cycles are never more than 28 days but I am sure because of suregery that is what threw it out of whack. I never imagined I would be so ready for AF but I guess this TTC thing has got me so warped already! So as of today I am CD31 & awaiting AF.

Gagirl, I fixed your CD. I really hope things start to get back on track here soon. Let us know when you are able to reschedule your Dr. appt & when it is.
Dval2007, I have added you to our list. I was able to update the list before my edit time was up. I hope your info is correct. Welcome! I hope you are recovering from your surgery nicely and it would be wonderful if you get your BFP right out of the gate.
Newchptr, Have you tested? Did AF find you yesterday as planned? I hope you got your BFP.
