Danielle,
I love the name! Hope your DS is feeling better soon. My youngest DS, 15 years old, just started wrestling practices this week and his first duals are this weekend. If you son is anything like mine, time off of the mat is like torture.
Glad to hear things are going well.

what a long day! had to take my oldest son to the doctor and for xrays, he hurt his arm on fri and still tried to wrestle on it in a tournament sat, still not doing so well, neg for fractures but there is a pocket of fluid in the joint, he goes to the rheumatologist thurs for his 1st appt, he was having trouble with his ankle for about a year and his lab work came back questionable twice so they are thinking juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. then all 3 boys had wrestling practice tonight. it's now 930 and i'm just finishing up dinner baths and homework! not to mention a fussy 1 year old. i'm actually looking forward to going to work tom, its relaxing for me sometimes. oh, we've decided on a name...owen tyler. me and the boys wanted chase but dh just wouldn't give in and the other names i liked were tyler and owen so we went with owen tyler, everyone agrees...finally!

Hi ladies. I just came back from my dr appt and we were able to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. I am very happy that everything is going good.

For the ladies that had morning sickness, when does it go away?

Sorry to butt in...

Jen and Rita, the placenta takes over the production of progesterone around 10 weeks or so. I too was on progesterone and I was terrified that something would happen when I stopped. Truthfully, I was terrified my whole pregnancy. I used all the progesterone I had after he told me to stop, and then everything was ok once I did.

Rita,
SOrry for sounding so confused, but I just don't understand why they would have you stop if you obviously need it. I'm not confused by you, but by your doctor. Are there adverse effects to staying on it longer? Maybe you could post a new thread and ask if anyone has stayed on it longer since the women here are a wealth of knowledge and experience. I unfortunately don't have any experience with progesterone and I really want to help, but don't know how.

Take care,
Jen

my doctor says they don't keep people on progesterone past 12 weeks. so I guess I just wait and see. I go monday for check up and hope we hear the heartbeat still.
