well ladies the holiday season is upon us...seems to come earlier every year. i went to walmart the day after halloween and they were playing christmas music!! i guess its time to get my shop on! any ideas what to buy for a 1 year old little girl who has everything? sophia turned 1 nov 5, we had her party sat, she got so much stuff, and the only thing she was really interested in was the boxes the stuff came in. too funny! i am now 21 weeks-wow time flies! i havent started getting anything together yet, i guess i will wait until after christmas and all the holiday maddness to tackle that project. hope everyone is doing well [Smile]

Waiting-I also couldn't hear the hb with doppler at 11weeks 4days. My doc didn't want me to panic so they allowed me to have an u/s just to reassure me that it was simply too early. I did hear the hb with doppler at 13 weeks loud and clear. Try not to worry. They assured me that it is very common for us not to hear anything at 11 weeks. Good Luck with everything.

hannah,
Try not to worry. I dont think the time length has anything to do with it. Dr B has magic hands. I hope you get some sleep and I wish you the best.

waiting4ablessing,
With all my TR babies I heard the heart at different times. If I right I think they say around 15/16 you should hear it. I could be wrong so please just ask your Dr. I hope you all the best.

To everyone else I hope all is well!!

Hey ladies! I hope everyone is doing good. I'm 11 weeks 3 days and still having a lot of morning sickness :-( I went to my doctor's appointment today but didn't get to hear the baby's heart beat yet. Dr. gave me another appointment for next week to try again.
When were you guys first able to hear the hb with the doppler???

Hannah,
Always have hope. My TL was in 1994 and my TR was in 2007 and I am currently pg with TR baby #2. #1 was born in October 2008 and there is a 14 year age gap between her and my youngest son.
Good luck!

khadijah,
i couldn't sleep either, but my insomnia is a little different from yours. i haven't had my tr yet. at first i was waiting until feb. but now it may be sooner. i am very excited about finally being able to have the tr, yet at the same time a little anxious. my tl was in 1998 and i woke up not to long ago wondering if i was going to be able to get the tr seeing that it's been over 10yrs since my tl. i read a post from you that showed you had your tl in 1997 and your tr in 2005 which gives me a little more hope. thanks for your info.

Its Monday 1:22 am and I cant sleep. I have not heard from you all in a few days and I got worried. I hope all is well and you all had a great weekend. On Sunday I was 26 weeks. I think when you hit 30 it starts to come a lot faster. With Tr # 1 my water broke at 31 weeks so I always get scared until I pass 31 and even up to 35. The Dr could not tell me why my water broke so early so that scares me more. Maybe it was something I did and may do it again not knowing it was the one thing that made my water break. I guess until I hit 35 I will be walking on egg shells. Thats easier said than done having a 1,2 and 3 year old running around. The 3 year old is in Pre-k all day so that helps out a lot. DH even started doing most of his work at home so he is here just abbout all the time. He is good about helping me. I am blessed that all the babies sleeps all night and awake around 10am. I get up at 6 and get the 3 year old ready for school. When I get back I have time to do a few things before they wake up.

One last thing I wanted to ask you all. My 1 year old had to go to the hospital over the weekend to have test done (but she is fine). Anyways while I was there I saw a lot of signs saying no one under 18 was allowed unless they were being seen. I ask one of the ladies at the desk why. She said that this will be like this until the flu season is gone. She went on the say that even when I have my baby in Feb. that my little ones will not be allowed to come see me. She said that so many people are getting sick and to be on the safe side they have to follow this rule. In a way it makes me sad because I have never been away from them. My husband has always brought them to see me. In another way I happy because I would never want to take a chance and get them sick. It will give me more one on one time with the new baby. Keep in mind my kids have never went to day care or even stayed with anyone. My DH and I have no family here so when I gave birth in the past my older kids from my 1st marriage watched them while I gave birth and then DH would bring them to the hospital to see the new baby. We would have dinner together and DH would take the kids home. I always had the baby in my room. They only came for her when they needed to do test and would return right away. I would even go to the window to watch them while they do the test. I just feel better knowing that my baby is with me. Ok ladies. I have to go but I hope to hear from you all soon.
Take care

Good Luck and hope for better days for you Paprika! It sounds like such a minor incident because we all hit our heads on and off at times...but think nothing of it really. It really can turn into a scary thing and a huge chain of worry. Sounds like you and your little one is doing OK. Keep your head up...and protected! OUCH and scary! GL and hope you feel better soon!
