Silly you didn\'t't take the steri strips off IN THE SHOWER??? I does'nt hurt near as bad doing it that way. Well it sounds like "she" will be here before you know it
~I have been obsessing a lot these past two days on the size of my tubes (crying and all) I know my chances are still high due to my age BUT still never thought mine would be so tiny Just need some incouragement! DH keeps telling me over and over what Dr. Berger said "it's age and I'm only 27" Danaka

Jaima I went through the weepy moody symptoms. And I have read many other ladies write they faced the same thing after surgery. Hang in there it all gets better.
Glad to hear you are all healing after surgery. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Oh forgot to mention earlier that I do have bruising but it is very minimal. I took my steri strips off today after I showered & let me tell you that stinkin hurt! I was being the biggest baby ever! Lol! I guess I am anticipating to much on AF or atleast it thinks I am or it would be here by now! I think the surgery messed it up but hopefully it will start soon! I have been having the weepy moody symptoms so hopefully it's just a matter of time!

Becky, I did get your message on the other thread & you are so very welcome! I figured it could go to some use instead of just leaving it because I had NO room in my suitcase! I wish my kids would have got the memo about the time change seeing how they were all up at 730am!

**Still no AF yet & it was due yesterday...Im ready for it to get here!!**

Thanks, So far so good. I'm glad you all are doing well. Jaima, hope you saw the message on the other thread-thanks for the food you left at my door. It was good. I still have some jello left that I packed into my suitcase. My DH brought the kids trick or treating last night after we picked them up and we got home. Made for a hectic night for him, but at least it was done with and they got to bed on time tonight. Don't forget to set back your clocks! Don't want to be early for church-though I'm sleeping in tomorrow anyway. Becky

I am not bruised at all. Only place I bruised was where my iv was. I hope yours goes away soon. I get to take my strips off tomorrow so I'll let you know how that goes! I am so glad to have found you ladies & I think it brought us that much closer when we met that night!

Becky I'm glad your home safe. I hope you don't get sick form that other passenger. My DH has been doing almost everything as well. I Think trick or treating with the kids was to much for me today. I am sore I took off my steri strips just a few min ago. It was not bad at all. Except I had 1 that still didn't seem closed. (ahhh that freaked me out when it moved) it was where my drain was. My friend and DH say it looks MUCH BETTER than it did on Monday. I still think it looks nasty, but I guess I have to remember it's only been a 6 days.
Glad to hear everyone is hanging in there and we will be on our way to recovery!
Jaima I am hoping for AF to vist soon so you can get on track and get that little bean!!!!
*Hey are either of you SUPER BRUISED? Mine is super bruised (DH and friend say its better) but Dr. Berger saw mine the day after surgery and said that may be from the blood from the JP Drain. It's just yucky looking!
I am so glad that you made a safe trip home. I have felt pretty much like you just wanting to sit around. Today was a full day for us though. Two soccer games this morning & then we went trick or treating with the kids. It was good to get out & walk but I think I might have done a bit to much. I have been having some sharp pains on my left side if I get to worked up. AF was supposed to start today but so far no luck. Its crazy how I am wanting it to start so bad but I am ready to TTC! LOL!

Hi everyone, We're home. The plane ride yesterday wasn't bad, it just messed with my tummy. Traveling bothers my digestive system anyway, so add vicodin and recovering from surgery... Anyway, today I was feeling like kind of a wimp, thinking I should probably be up and around more by now, but I've been pretty much laying around on the couch. My DH has been great. He has been doing everything for the kids and telling them to not bug me. He did the shopping and made me some soup for lunch-pretty much waiting on me and running crowd control with the kids all day. We went for a little walk up and down our street. It felt good to be out. I'm just taking motrin now, but am feeling kind of wrung out and have no appetite. I'm going to stay home from church tomorrow, my DH will bring the boys. I hope to be back to work on Monday. As long as the sick, coughing plane passenger next to me yesterday didn't give me any flu germs. Becky
We live in Melbourne Florida. We drove the entire way. It was long we also had our 3 kiddies with us we went on a family vacation after) I would say FLY if you can. I had to stop and get out a ton. You don't want to get blood clots. I also had to pee a lot. When my bladder got slightly full it put pressure on my incision area, so we had to stop extra times. Yes everyone has the steri strips on. They are like tape stitches. No not everyone get's the JP Drain. Just me I guess there is a liner that protects your abdomen and mine had scard together so he had to cut a hole in it to just even get to my tubes. (Dr. Berger said that it bleeds, so I needed the JP Drain to empty out the blood) So again not everyone needs it. Have you had a C/S before with any of your other babies?? It's A LOT like that! Danaka
I just got home yesterday from TR surgery & I live in Oklahoma. We did fly because it is such a long ride in the car. About 20 hours I think. The plane was not bad at all. The only thing that I didnt like was that we had a layover in Dallas on the way back & we had to go from one end of the airport to the other to catch our other plane. Other than that I think that driving would have put a bigger strain as you are in the car for so long. Sure you can stop & get out but flying we were in the air a max of 3 hours & then got off & then again for an hour & ten we were done completely. I did stay a few extra days because we have some friends that live in the area but even going home the day I could have I think I would have been ok! Hope that helps a little!
Danaka~
Pain has gotten better. I think it was from walking so fast yesterday in the airport! LOL! I havent had it since I got home! Hope you have a great weekend. AF is due today for me so we will see. I am hoping surgery didnt mess it up & I start on time so we can start trying to catch that egg!!
