You can stop using them after you get a definite positive and O will occur within the next 48 hours. If you BD wfter you get a +, the sperm will be waiting for the egg to appear, and hopefully they will do what they are supposed to

I don't have anything to add....I've never used OPKs until just after my TR. I bought my first kit on the Thursday (had my TR on a Monday) and I have yet to get a positive. Dr B had mentioned that it looked like I was about to O shortly after my surgery so I suspect I missed my surge. I used them for 5 days from the day I got them, all -ive. So, I will wait until day 11 and start using them this month and hopefully I can detect my surge and get this baby-making party started

Tara I have had this. Your DPO start with the darkest line. I talked to me doctor about it. I hope this helps. The line will increase in darkness and then fate away after O. Miranda

Has anyone had a positive OPK for 5 days? Today will make 5 days for me and I'm so confused. Although the test line now is the same color as the control line about 3-4 days ago the test line was darker than the control. So if this is possible when do I start counting for my DPO. My temp has steadily increased for the last 2 days. Any help would be great. Tara
