Hello Princess, Many people do a lot of their research on the internet. You may want to also speak with your local OB-GYN and ask if he has any suggestions. Feel free to contact our office anytime from 8 am-8 pm with questions regarding your upcoming TR.

Taking charge of your fertility is a good book to start with. If you choose to google anything on the internet, be careful what sites you believe. The best ones are accredited sites that are monitored such as webMD, fertility friend (good site for cycle charting), as well as a few others. Do not believe everything you read - make sure you get the same information from a few sites before believing it. Also, don't believe alot of what you read in various forums, blogs or other community threads. I have seen women giving other women alot of poor advice and bad information. Try to get your information from a reliable source. You can also use the search engine here to look at what others have said.
For instance, instead of starting a new thread on pre-seed, instead cups, or BBTs, do a search on the engine here and see what threads have already been posted about it and you can read the information there. You can even make a new post or comment and "revive" the subject from the past. Just a few ideas.... Good luck!

Princess M I can totally relate to how you are feeling! There is sooo much out there about fertility. When in Jan are you having the surgery? I'm scheduled for Jan 18th, so maybe we can be TR buddies. This board is very helpful and all the ladies here are more than willing to share their knowledge and experience which is comforting. Good luck!

As always it starts at home. Eating better and taking care of your self and the dad hoping to be. I would get your levels checked at your doctors office. Always good to know where you stand at the start of everything. Some need things others do not. So start charting or OPKing to see if you are Oing and when. Hang in there it is really not that hard. As always many see a bfp with out doing anything different. It is just more about knowing your body and hearing what it is saying. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Well, I am planning on having TR in January, and as I read these messages I realize there is sooooo much to learn... Pre-seed? Should I just search the internet or the library?.. There seem to be so many things to help with conception, yet I dont know any...... sounds like some work for me. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Any help would be great!
