I was saying the same thing about my right stitch... I couldn\'t't wait to cut them off!! [Smile] My left one never bothered me at all. I honestly can say today that I don't have to roll to my side to get out of bed [Smile] YAY I can just lean up like a spring chicken and be on my merry way [Wink]
I think you sound like your doing really well 3 days out. I am 12 days out so give your self a little time.
Glad all is well over there.

Thanks for all the info! I am surprised at how bloated I feel...I guess I wasn't anticipating that....I mean, I don't want to sound like a wimp - but, I guess I expect too much from myself. It has ONLY been 3 days.....I must have been under the delusion that I was going to be running a marathon the day after! LOL!!

Also, the spot where the suture knot is on one side stings everytime I move....but, again, nothing untolerable - just complaining here....whine whine whine... [Roll Eyes]

But, on the bright side - I never felt nauseas, dizzy or extreme pain. I can move about (slowly) and mostly it hurts when getting in the up or down position. I didn't take pain med's yesterday until the evening....then I felt much better.
So, overall - this really has not been a bad post 3 days.

Colace helped me. I get that way whenever I take pain killers. And it makes you feel worse cause it makes it feel like pressure on your incision, or it least it did for me. Once I could go I felt so much better.

I retained a lot of water, that gets better. I hope you go soon, drink some coffee, that does it for me also!!

Isn't that better! I swear I felt like a new person when I had my BM!! I kept taking them for a few more days bc I wanted all of them to come with ease (sry tmi) but I have had C/S and I know what the pain feels like to have to struggle [Wink]

I used Colase, 2, then another 2 about 12 hours later. My crampiness from the surgery eased up when the pressure was off.

If you have not had a BM within 48 hours after tubal reversal surgery we suggest you try using a laxative called Dulcolax. If you are still unable to go please call the office and we will suggest something else to use. This medicine is written on your post operative instructions sent home with you the day of surgery. Feel better soon.

BM after tubal reversal surgery ??? [Embarrassed] I am feeling very bloated this morning....My stomach is not hard though, and I am passing gas (sorry to be gross)....but - no BM since like Tuesday night. My reversal was Wednesday. I feel a bit swollen today - kinda like retaining water....and I took two stool softeners yesterday before bed, and then woke up at around 3 am and took another. Is there like a limit on how much stool softener one can take???
Overall I feel ok, I just wished I would goooo....ya know what I mean. Is this normal???? [Roll Eyes] [Eek!]
