Mine started out at 30-31 days after surgery and then went to longer around 35 days. Then this year I had some closer to 40 and one I remember well because it was over 40. I think it was all do to my body working out everything after surgery. I had bad PTLS so each cycle was a step closer to a better me. I hope others jump in and tell you about what they have been through. Hang in there. Miranda

its hard to know when you are ovulating...I am so tired of using OPK's to be honest and I have only been trying for 2 months. I was wondering is having longer cycles normal?

My cycles have been all over the place lately. This cycle is looking like about 34 days, last cycle was 45 days, and the one before that was 28 days. I hope you get it figured out

Aimee I had a few months at the first of the year that I never knew what day my cycle would start on. I had one that went 40 some days. If you do not have a BFP then you may want to see your doctor and get levels looked at. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Hi Aimee, Well I had my surgery on 9/22/09 and my last cycle date began 9/14/09. Prior to surgery my cycles had been approx. 30-35 days for a couple months before. In the past my cycles were closer to 35 days. Now my I am on cycle day 54 and no sign of AF. Very frustrating and my OB gave me Prometrium to take to kick start my cycle but I just got a +OPK last friday. So needless to say I think the surgery just absolutely messed up my cycle. But if AF doesn't show soon I will take the medicine as I was told it would not harm a pregnancy if one is there anyways. Frustrated but good luck to you and hopefully your cycle straightens out soon. Baby dust to you. Tara

Hi Aimee: i would probably do a pregnancy test just to make sure. I had a similar problem after surgery. Before the surgery, 08/03/2009, I had a 28 day cycle, like clockwork. After the surgery my cycles were 17 - 21 days. The doctor started me on chlomid this month. I know this isn't much help. Keep us posted!!

I am wordering if there are any other woman here who have long cycles and if that is normal. My cycles seem to vary from month to month, last month I was a CD 29 but the one before was CD 39 which I thought was just because my body was adjusting to having surgery. I still have not started my period yet when my last period was 9/30/09.....I am confused, I dont think I am pregnant but I have not tested, what do you all think. I guess it could be stress, my grandmother just passed away from cancer. any somments would be great
