I wonder why I was told one would be used if you did not get everything out of your bladder when I came for surgery in 08. I know that feeling and that is what it was. Maybe this is something that has been changed again to make it go faster and better.

Since the tubal reversal process takes is not a procedure of a prolonged time period, we do not insert catheters. This is one less avenue of infection.

I have this every time I get a catheter. Which you had while asleep when they did your TR. I had a MC in July and they placed a catheter in then to to do some test and it did the same thing. Also did it after my c-sections. Hope this helps you. Miranda

Some of this may be related to incision site or stitch discomfort. You have internal stitches that may stretch some and cause some discomfort as your bladder fills. This should resolve over time. If you are having difficulty emptying your bladder you should contact our tubal reversal nurses and also contact your local physician.

I had that as well... I had to go to the bathroom every few min bc if it got full at all it put tons of pressure... I wanted to die Robin from Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center told me it was normal... I dont recall 2 weeks later it still hurting.
You should go to the Dr. just to be sure it's not a bladder infection though. I hope you get better quick.

Has anyone had pain when their bladder gets full? I noticed immediately after tubal reversal surgery I was having lower pains every time my bladder was full. I am 2 weeks out and it is still there. I am going to the Dr. on Tuesday but I was wondering if anyone on here had the same issue. The pain is very low in my groin area. I am worried about it-it's quite uncomfortable. Thank you!
