I was very lucky but I can't say it happened immediately after TR. It occurred 5 months after TR, in fact, two cycles after an HSG. One of my tubes blocked and the HSG pushed the debris and sure enough! Jackpot!!!
I am very blessed with my boy. He was born a preemie because of preclampsia and spent about 3 weeks in NICU.
No gifts come without sacrifice.
That's why I'm here lending my support and advice to my fellow TR sisters.

Thank you for your response. I was curious about that. I conceived the first time with each of my children, so I suppose I am quite fertile. I am having my TR on Monday, but am in no rush to get pregnant right away. I am 32 years old and my last child was born 4 years ago.

Our first three were conceived quickly, but I didn't expect our 4th to be. Dr. Berger told us before the surgery that we would probably be able to have another child, but it would probably take longer than it did with our first children. I'm turning 37 this month, and my third child was born when I was 29. I think good fertility before tubal reversal is a good sign, but as many know well, there are no guarantees. You really can't predict how long it will take based on your fertility before surgery, your age, or your lengths. Becky age 36, DH age 39 TR 10/28/09 Lengths R: 4.5; L: 5.0 due 8/5/10

I am curious if the women that got pregnant right away after TR also conceived quickly before their TL. Do you think that there is any correlation?

Dear Laura I'm one of the lucky ones who got pregnant on my first cycle after tubal reversal. I am now at 7 weeks, and no signs of trouble-thank God. I am no more deserving or a better candidate than other ladies here. There is no way of knowing ahead of time whether you will conceive, bear a healthy child, or mourn a tiny one whom you wanted so badly. I think you have to know it is a risk and be ready for whatever comes. You have to be strong, have support, and have faith that whatever comes-your life in God's hands and nothing can take away your joy. If you don't do the reversal-you may always wonder-what if you had. Consider it carefully with prayer. Becky

I have to say that I am one of the VERY lucky ones. I had TR on March 2007 and had my first TR baby in December of 2007. When he was 8 months I got pregnant again and our litle girl was born on June 2009. This was my fourth Csection and my uterus collapsed but EVERYTHING was perfect and to my luck both born right before I turned 40!
Thank you Dr Berger I cant seem to tell you often enough..
Love you all - The whole staff you are all angels!
I was fortunate to get PG right after my TR(07)however it was e/p and have gone on to have 3 m/c's and just recently another e/p. Needless to say my journey is over. I sure do hope luck is on your side and you get the baby you so desire.
Good luck to all.

Andrea is so right..God is the author of life. When I start to get discouraged I just think "We are all born through our parents, but we are FROM God. When His timing is right, He will bless our family with another life. If there is another child for us, He/She is with God now, and we are just waiting for Him to release them!" His timing is perfect...
I don't post often here anymore, but I'm glad you have found the board to be helpful to you! I know it was for me when I had so many questions!
There are a lot of TTC warriors here, indeed! Unfortunately, with the creation of new life, no one can determine when it may happen for each one of us.
Many ladies get pregnant right away (most don't post on the board) and sometimes when they do their pregnancies seem a bit "discounted" because they didn't have to try for long..nevertheless, it's a wonderful miracle no matter how long pregnancy takes! Other ladies have been so faithful in charting and being strong, and it takes quite a long time, and sometimes heartaches to have their babies.
I was very fortunate to get pregnant the first cycle TTC. (When I had the TR we were told to wait 1 full cycle before TTC) He is now 6 months old. We are praying for more children in God's time. We have been richly blessed with our family, and more blessings are just that-more blessings!
I pray the very best for you! I , too had PTLS, and had my first PP AF recently..I was prepared for a heavy difficult AF, as the first PP AF can be..but mine was a breeze! That could be due to the supplements I take, but it certainly was a huge factor that I don't have PTLS anymore, as those cycles were horrible.
