I only just got my first BFP in 10 months since the surgery feb 09. I only have 1 tube also. I dont know the technical term but I had " dye testing " ( HSG )done with a specialist. Its an outpatient procedure where they push dye thru your tube to test their viability. In essence, it clears your tubes or tube. I became pregnant 1 month after this procedure. also, a while ago i bought "preseed", its a sperm friendly lubricant that is suppose to help carry the sperm. I didnt use it for a while but recently started and again, I am now preg. I dont know exactly what caused the BFP but maybe one of these methods...good luck

I think the best thing we did was moving from my regular OB to a RE (fertility specialist). My OB was great but he'd never dealt with anyone that had a tubal ligation and tubal reversal . He'd also never dealt with anyone with PCOS. He took a pretty laid back attitude and I wanted someone that was willing to be aggressive with helping us to get pregnant.
My RE was great! She ran all the tests and started me a clomid (for the PCOS - my OB had told me to lose 5 lbs). We got pregnant our first cycle under the RE's supervision. Unfortunately, it ended in miscarriage but in the year that we worked with her she never stopped pushing to help us.
The one thing that I did beyond the RE was acupuncture. I'm not sure if it made a difference but within 6 weeks of starting a once a week treatment we were pregnant with Lydia Grace.
I would caution you about using herbal supplements. I know that many women have had good success with them but I wasn't one of them. In fact, the herbals totally screwed up my cycle and it took me almost 3 months to get it straightened out. I'm not saying anything bad, I totally believe in alternative medicine - I'm just saying that not all of us respond the same.

Praying....I consulted with an herbalist (under guidance of my OB as well) who tailored a "fertility regimen" for me, I used a tea comparable to Fertilitea...it had many of the same herbs. I also saw a massage therapist who was also certified in acupressure that worked in my chiropractors office and she performed (as well as taught me techniques to use at home) massage and acupressure that targets the reproductive organs. I am a big believer in alternative, natural methods and am convinced that this helped. I also had fluid in one of my tubes ...but after 3 months of treatment it was no longer there! My best wishes to you, the best thing to do is consult people who are certified if you will be dealing with any herbs...but yoga (fertility yoga is what I did), and the massage and acupressure therapy was a big part especially in the fact that it helped to reduce the stress of ttc and I was also able to notice physical changes in my cycle as far as fertile cm, my AF was better, and lighter and had a consistent O! Oh, and btw...I got my BFP after 3 mnths of the above treatment and am now 22wks 4dys pregnant with a boy!

First let me say Congratulations to all that have gotten their BFP !! Next I don't mean to be personal or nosy but is their anything you have done that you believe helped you to get pregnant? My DH and I have both had test done his SA is good now and has been for about 5 months now and I was told I have one blocked tube but I was also told not to worry cause it only takes one tube my clear tube is 5.5.I'm coming upon my one year ann.and not even one BFP..I know some of you have waited longer i'm just asking ..So if anyone has any advice that would be great !! Thank you and good luck to all! Im sorry i posted this in the wrong place so i re-posted it here so if someone can delete the other post cause i don't know how ...Sorry.
