I had this. My lengths are Right 6.0 and Left 4.25. My right tube is open and the HSG was inconclusive on the left side. I have not gotten pregnant, but I didn't TTC right away and I had SEVERAL annovulatory months. Dr. Berger can repair 98% of the tubes he sees. He's the best!

Bipolar tubal coagulation is the most popular method of laparoscopic female sterilization in the United States. With this method of tubal ligation, the fallopian tube is grasped between two poles of electrical conducting forceps, and electrical current passes through the tube between the two ends of the forceps. Damage to the tube is limited to the segment between the forceps. Often, two or three adjacent sites are coagulated resulting in loss of approximately 2-3 cm of fallopian tube. Pregnancy rates after reversal of a bipolar coagulation procedure are approximately 60%.or additional information and an illustration of this bipolar technique, please click on the link below to review the bipolar cautery page of our website: http://www.tubal-reversal.net/tubal_ligation_coagulation.htm

I had bipolar coagulation done almost 10 years ago and had TR done 07/03/06 and ended up with 4 and 4.5 for lenghts and after 5 months of TTC got preg. but it ended in M/C. We're still trying and we hope since we know we can get preg.
I am proud to post and say I had the multiple cauterization done, and had Dr. B do my reversal. My lengths were not bad, If I remember correctly one side is 7.0 and one side is 5.0? I know I had good numbers,
as far as my end result, well, Alexandre was born June 28, 2005 and now he has a sibling on the way due August 3, 2007!!
