Dear momtwo3-hope4more, The consultation prior to your tubal reversal can be around an hour or so. You will meet with nurses first. We will go over your pre op and post op instructions, early pregnancy monitoring protocol, and ovulation monitoring. We will also perform your vaginal ultrasound. You will then meet with Dr. Berger and then with anesthesia. The consultation is a time that you are able to receive lots of good information (most of it will feel like a review since you receive lots of the information when you schedule surgery). You will also have the opportunity to ask Dr. Berger any questions that you may have as well as speak with anesthesia. I think that once patients meet with Dr. Berger, they feel so much more at ease. You should probably be able to meet your friend around 1:00 at the latest. We can give you a better idea once you arrive the day of consultation. I look forward to meeting you and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Rhonda

If I am right you will not even be there one hour. I had mine in 05 so things may have changed. You could always call and ask, they are really good about letting you know every last detail. I wish you the best and extra long tubes. Khadija TR baby #3 on the way
