I'm going to put it as simply as possible.

Taking an aspirin for a rotten tooth doesn't take care of the problem you have to pull the tooth to completely heal.

TR may help some but you need to get rid of the baggage that is making you upset if there is any. Sometimes you have to walk away. Get people out of your life.

I am a fully self admitted B. I don't tolerate certain things well, in turn certain types of people leave me alone, they know better. It's like idiot repellant. I wish I could can it and sell it I'd make a fortune!!!! LOL [Smile]
Don't tolerate wicked people in your life.
I make my opinion known, in turn it keeps foolish people away. They know I'm not going to lay down and take it. Why would they subject themselves to me??? LOL It works try it.
You are your own best caretaker.
Take some time and examine your life. Really look at it, pretend you are someone else looking in. Look objectively at the big picture of your life.
TR works for sure on somethings absolutely! But it won't get rid of the vampire like people you know?

Stephanie and Tawnee
Than you for your answers and your suggestion about talking to a professional . I did exactly that some time ago . I was told that it was completely normal the way I was feeling because my stepkids have been so mean to me thru the years, so my sadness was just a normal feeling .I love them and care for them so it's been very very hard and painful ,but I was always able to overcome even the worse situations and the way I feel now, as I said, is very different so that's why I was wondering if it would have something to do with the TL, because it started afterwards along with the other symptoms.
Thank you so very much for your help .
God Bless You

Teresa - So glad that you put it out there for someone to read. TR may be your answer to how you're feeling, but maybe you also need to examine your life. I agree with Stephanie that talking to a professional might bring you some relief as well. Sounds as though you have some issues in your life that need to be dealt with.

Whatever your choice, know that there is a really supportive community on these boards. I'll be thinking about you, and praying that things work out.

Take Care,

Tonya

I had a TR to fix my PTLS (plus other reasons) IT WORKED.... My kids say that my mommy antenna were reconnected!

Until your TR I found that a herb called 5-HTP helped and it had zero side effects. Iw ould Google it and check it out..

You are welcome and if you feel like your symptoms have started since TL you may find a great deal of relief from having tubal reversal surgery. Many women can share their stories of relief from post tubal ligation syndrome. Again, I am very happy to help you if you would like to schedule surgery. Please contact me anytime.

I really appreciate your answer and your help ,
I must say that I've started feeling this way after my TL ,so that's why I 've started wondering if it might have something to do with the TL.
The family problems : my stepkids being mean to me and treating me in a diminishing way, that has been going on for a long ,long time and though I have been very sad and depressed at times as a consecuence of that, the way I have been feeling for the last year is completely different I've never felt this way before .
Thank you again for your answer .

Tbbso4o5,
I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling down. Many patients have found relief of mood swings and depression after TR. Maybe some will respond to your post and give you their personal stories. I would suggest that you find a professional to talk to about the way you are feeling. They will be able to help you sort through many of the things you mentioned.

If you would like more information on TR or have other questions please email me directly stephanied@tubal-reversal.net

Best wishes,

Hello Ladies
I had a TL two years ago , and I 've been feeling really down , kind of depressed ,nothing seems to help . I 've found out about PTLS a few weeks ago and I suffer from most of the symptoms , needles to say I was shocked about this, because my Dr never told me anything about it before the TL!
I have to say that I had a TL even when I would've loved to have more kids, because I realized during my pregnancy how messed up my family really was so I felt it would not be responsible to bring another Baby into this family.I have two step-kids both of them do drugs ( 20 and 18 )I've been in their lives for almost 10 yrs ,love them but they have been really mean to me( when I m/c my twins They laughed at me ) and all of this makes me really sad,so maybe that's why I am so sad,but I've been feeling terrible since my TL
My husband and I have talked about the possibility of having TR surgery , but he pretty much told me that I was already negative and awful and a"B" before my TL SO he doesn't think it would be that much of a change in me after a TR .
And now I am wondering if he might be right.
I just want to feel better again to be the Mommy my kids need me to be.
Thank you for reading my post
Best wishes to you all
