I'm new to this forum and i would like to star by saying thank you.
I had my tubes tied July 25 2001, 10 hrs after my son was born. I had post op infection and extreme pain for about 2 months after the surgery. At the time of my TL I was 30 and had never had any problem with my period prior to my TL. I had regular periods that came every 28 days and lasted about 6 days. No cramping no mood swings. And now I'm in pain 3 weeks out of the month. Extreme cramping, back pain. Major mood swings. I'm tired all the time. Headaches so bad that I have to be in a dark room. Now it seems to get worse as the years go on. I can't live like this anymore.
I just moved to Virginia from Upstate New York and I have no idea where to start to look for a dr down here that could help me.
I have been treated for the headaches and crapping but it's always with pain killers and having 3 kids from the ages of 4 to 9 I can't take them and try to function. I don't want to mask the problem I want someone who can fix the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
